Explaining 'SPAM-SCAM' Fake/Scam profiles ... OR, How Good/Bad Is Your Short-Term Memory?

Several times over the past few years I've received emails from Gentlemen on this site, first thanking me for making them aware of the various types of scammers that infest this site, but also asking me what "SPAM-SCAM" fake/scam profiles are.

As I went through the Newest Members (ALL women between 18 and 99 years of age, from ANYWHERE in the world) that have been posted in the past 24 hours, I noticed that today would be a good time to expand on this explanation as an addition to the other Blog posts I've written, or should I just call it:

Fake/Scam Profiles 101 - SPAM SCAM

For the past several months I've noticed a decrease in SPAM-SCAM profiles to the point that the "Aubrey" SPAM-SCAM fake/scam profiles were the only ones showing up with any consistency.

In case you missed them, there would only be a few each day with pictures of the same woman (often they were posted with DIFFERENT pictures of the SAME woman), but always containing the same profile Introduction or Headline wording to include the name "Aubrey".

ALL of them used different geographical locations in Canada, the UK, Australia, or the USA, but their retardate redundancy each day became so recognizable that I stopped seeing comments under their pictures from those men who were obviously either newbies to the site or so horny they couldn't recognize a fake/scam profile if their life and/or wallet depended on it!

Today's lesson, boys and girls, brought back to mind that there will ALWAYS be "Aubrey-like" fake/scam profiles with us on this site!

The following are spot-on examples of SPAM-SCAM profiles inasmuch as they all follow the same moronic pattern.

1. They ALL use basically the same name with numbers afterwards

2. They ALL use pictures of the same woman, some are ALL the same picture and others are different poses, but still of the same woman.

3. The ALL use the same wording in their profile Introductions or Headlines.

4. The ages are ALL the same, or a year or two apart.

5. They ALL are from different geographical locations.

*** Although most of these profiles are usually ALL 'lumped' together on the same search page of Newest Members, some of them are spread out.

Where these scammers get these pictures from is beyond the search capabilities of Google search for image or TinEye, but if I was to guess, I'd say that one possibility is that these pictures are of ex-girlfirends/wives that some sick individuals somehow see as a sort of personal revenge!

The main reason I thought to add this post today, is, like I said, I haven't seen many of them in the past few months, but also to hopefully educate a few of those men that left their 'newbie/horny' comments under their profile pictures on some of them today!

The Current "Flood" of Newest Member Fake/Scam Profiles ... but are they .....

... or, BOTH???

In addition to the 'usual' fake/scam profiles that show up every day on the Newest Members section of the site, I noticed that the current 'FLOOD' of them are being posted by what can only be described as "Lazy or just plain Stupid(s)"!

ALL OF THEM are of 18 to 25 year old women from the USA, with pictures,

ALL OF THEM have the title of "Hello There"; and,

ALL OF THEM have the same line on their Introductions:

"Loking For some fun"

There are literally and figuratively too many of them on that section of the site to even bother reporting them, but hopefully, it will save some of the 'less-educated' guys who look at them from making costly mistakes by commenting on their pictures or trying to contact them.

Another "glitch" that may aid SCAMMERS!!!

Within the past few days I've noticed that comments left in the box below profile pictures are no longer visible after you post them and leave that profile page.

They are visible if you immediately post ANOTHER comment and submit it, but they will ALL disappear again once you leave that page!

This latest site 'glitch' now gives those who post fake/scam profiles a definite advantage in attempting to SCAM those who may be unsuspecting or ignorant of their ways, as it no longer allows those of us who report abuse to provide a warning to members who may not be educated to avoid the fake/scam profiles.

I have written a comment on the site support Blog, but it appears by the lack of attention to that Blog (no activity since 12-6-2018 and 8 pending comments), that it may not be seen by the site or other members, soon.

Unless/until this latest 'whoops' is corrected I can only offer this helpful reminder about fake/scam profiles ...

'Fake/Scam' Profiles 101 -- Spam Scammers
Posted:Oct 25, 2018 9:39 am

.

In my Blog post from yesterday, one of my responses to fellow fake/scam profile 'hunter' sphxdiver, I briefly detailed several of the fake/scam 'SPAM SCAMMERS' profiles that I had seen and reported on a daily basis for a few months this past Spring and Summer ... but, that I hadn't seen active for some time now.

Well, lo and behold ... today, one of them was back!

This one always goes by "eatmelikeapie ###' with various after the name, although it has used other names in the past, is always 48 to 50 years old, hails from various geographical locations like:

Simpsonville, SC

Rochester, NH

Harvey, LA

Ann Arbor, MI

as well as some Canadian locations in the past, and, basically posts the same narrative on the profile's Introduction:

dont waste my time and i dont like B.S if you want to talk message me there xxxxxxxx## at g meyl dot com or drop yours ill respond to you later

These Spam Scammers are pretty regular on the site's Newest Matches link almost every day, and even though the pictures don't show up when using Google Chrome or Tineye, they are easily recognizable regardless of the different poses.

Another of today's example of Spam Scamming is this one::

This one went by " Soulmate ### ", was 28 years old in all of them, had the same profile Introduction narrative::

" I am adult and quite mature woman for my age. I know what I want from my life and I always get it Now I only need to find s... "

and purported the following different geographical locations::

Los Angeles, CA

Blacklick, OH

Miami, FL

Sometimes I've seen only one fake/scam Spam Scam profile using a VERY recognizable picture of a woman posted in a 24 hour period, and at times the of profiles posted on a single day will reach 30!

The question remains, in my mind ... why do they do it?

I can understand the ones like 'eatmelikeapie' doing so to scam some poor naive 'sucker' out of his personal information or money, but why does the author of someone like 'Soulmate' do so?

With no contact information given, there's a reduced chance that anyone will use the site's IM or email to contact them. So again, why do they do it?

Yes, I know it's a rhetorical question that everyone's unique imagination can probably come up with different reasons for ... and I really don't want to hear them. *LOL*

For whatever their reasonings, please keep these fake/scam 'Spam Scam' profiles in mind when you may be looking, and/or are contacted by them.:

The DAILY Same Old, Same Old - Fake/Scam Women's profiles on the 'Newest Matches'

.

I've begun to post a comment on the women's fake/scam profile pictures on the Newest Matches I report as a kind of "FAKE/SCAM PROFILE 101" for the guys who haven't caught on yet.

There are others on this site who do the same, but I don't know if they are just leaving comments or are reporting them as well in the Report Abuse link with the 'why' drop-downs and including the URL of the pictures in the comments, like I do.

It appears that the only time the site does delete these fakes is if you have completed an Abuse Report, and even then their track record for doing so isn't 100% ... especially on the week-ends and with the Gold members that are using copied-and-pasted pictures from the Internet.

The majority of those I do report are those fake/scam profiles that are using pictures of porn stars/models, pictures from 'eye-candy' sites, pictures from Russian bride sites, sites, or pictures of models and celebrities.

For about a month now there has also been a 'new' category of fake/scam womens profiles that add about 100 profiles a day on the Newest Matches link.

These fake/scam profiles are ALL from the USA ... are ALL between the ages of 19 to 24 ... and whoever is posting them is using the same basic pictures, EVERY DAY they post them!

Unlike the Ghana Scam Team (as I refer to them), they aren't using the headline and Introduction portion of the profiles, but are leaving one of several identical phrases on the status portion of these profiles, which are:

get me some feedback on my pics

waiting for your messages

** who is want a private pics?

want to show my pics. please send me pm

looking for a nice talker

can u write me a pm?

please write me

** looking for a one night sex

hey guys, write me three compliments

write me please

do u want to see my secrets?

** who is want to see my pussy?

** looking for a sex

looking for a crazy guy

As you can see by the ones I've added asterisks to, their command of the English language is poor, indicating that they may have originated in some foreign location, or it just may be possible that this is a group effort being done by some Junior High School aged scammers!

As far as the pictures on these fake/scam profiles are concerned, as I stated previously, they are using the same pictures, over and over, each day that they appear.

I haven't bothered to check them all out, but many of them are pictures of porn stars/models, pictures from 'eye-candy' sites, and of course several of them are of the Internet's self-proclaimed 'selfie-Queen', Angie Varona!

I do NOT report ALL of them, unfortunately for the weak-minded, easily-led-to-being-scammed-guys that may get 'suckered' by them, but then again, I do already report a large of fake/scam profiles every day and doing another 100 or so, when it's not stopping these scammers from just re-posting them the next day, is just not worth it!

The Fake/Scam Women's profiles on the 'Newest Matches' (newest members), are as 'sneaky' as a .... !

The 'latest' wave of fake/scam profiles are the scammers who lost out when C-List closed their site to them.

Now, A.F.F. is being deluged with multiple profiles, with pictures of the same woman in different poses, all about the same age with identical height, weight, etc. info ... but, with different geographical locations ... and they all contain the EXACT SAME email addresses, poorly disguised by spelling out the "at", "dot" and whatever email site they are using, in either/both their 'headline' or Introduction!

Sorry ... but as the Terms of Use clearly points out, and the Report Abuse drop-down menu so conveniently provides for, SOLICITATION, in the form of the advertising of email addresses, phone/text numbers, Skype/Snapchat ID's, etc., is a big no-no ... AND, makes it much simpler for those of us who Report Abuses on a daily basis to do so!

Fake/Scam Profiles Found In “New Matches/Newest Members”-Who Do You Feel Exhibits Greater Ignorance?

Each and every day on this site there is an abundance of new fake/scam profiles being posted that are viewed by some members who recognize and report them for abuse.

For those members who do report them, it doesn't take more than a few days of doing so before recognizing that the pictures being used on these fake/scam profiles are actually of porn stars, models and celebrities, even without using browser tools like TinEye or Google Search for Image to verify them.

With that in mind, who do you feel exhibits greater ignorance regarding these fake/scam profiles?

A.) The 'scammers' who utilize over-used pictures of the same-old, same-old porn stars, models and celebrities ...

Or, B.) those guys that view these fake/scam profile pictures and leave comments on them, such as:

47M - "Amazing pic love your hypnotic eyes"

55M - "Truly gorgeous! Wow!!"

39M - "Gorgeous"

47M - "So very sweet and have an amazing body would love to massage your sexy butt"

55M - "very nice pic"

57M - "Those (large breasts) are impressive!!"

47M - "No words will never describe your true beauty"

UPDATE: The "Fake Profiles" On This Site Have Reached Pandemic Proportions And Are Out Of Control!

Last October (2017), I wrote a Blog post detailing the "Fake Profiles" that were inundating this site (and all it's many 'clone' sites).

Since that time I've noticed that a very few people have occasionally written posts regarding these 'fakes" on the Support Blog, and having looked there today, I noticed yet another was written about 10 days ago.

As expected, the response was that it would be "forwarded" to the appropriate site department and their advice to the person who wrote the post was to report it to the Abuse Dept. using their online reporting tool at the bottom of the profile picture.

As if anyone is going to take the time to fill out HUNDREDS of Abuse Reports ... EVERY DAY!!!

Since I initially wrote about these "fakes", their 'authors' have added to the number of stock-standard profile Introductions that accompany each one, and are presented here as an "UPDATE".

Currently, one of these following seven "Introductions" can be found on each one:

Hey. Do you want me for the night?

Hi sexy, I see yo're close, and I'm really in a mood to fuck and suck your...

I'm webcam model, but i can't talking here. I'll be fired.

Hi! Do you want to have sex right now?

I am very hot sexy girl, now me totally naked any one see & fuck me...

Oh my god, you are sooo good. Fuck me hard, i'm waiting...

My naturally sweet and sensual personality will make our time together one of a kind

(Yes, the same grammatical mistakes that were present since these "fakes" began in mid-September of 2017 are STILL present today!)

In all fairness and in defense of the "Abuse Dept." I have noticed that these "fake profiles", newly posted every single day, are being deleted within a few days. Whether it's being done by the site or the scammers themselves is unknown.

I would expect that they will continue to show up as the site really can't do anything about it.

If they are being 'authored' by some "Scam Team from Ghana", the site can't/won't block the IP addresses they come from as most of these 'scammers' use 'Internet Cafe's' there to create these "fake profiles", and the site cannot/will not 'Block/Ban' any of them for fear of "punishing all for the abuse of a few".

Unlike those members on this site that do use Google Chrome and/or TinEye to verify that the profile pictures used on these and other "fake profiles" are indeed copied-and-pasted from various web sites, and report them for abuse, the site people cannot use those 'tools', as they represent a "commercial entity" and would be charged a fee to use them.

Let's face it, reducing the site's 'profits' for Customer Satisfaction, by them paying to use those sites, is NEVER going to happen!

The bottom line is that we will just have to live with continued new "fake/scam profiles" that infest the site on a daily basis, whether they be from the "Scammer Team from Ghana" or the other individuals that post them.

Although they still are few in numbers (compared to the ignorant members who leave 'knuckle-dragger' comments under the 'fake/scam profile' pictures), there are a growing number of individual members on here that do report the "fake/scam profiles" for abuse, and in most cases (not all), the site does get around to deleting them!

The "Fake Profiles" On This Site Have Reached Pandemic Proportions And Are Out Of Control!

For about a month now, the number of female "fake profiles" has continued to increase on the "New Matches" area of the home page, of this site, on a daily basis.

Whether you're a man, woman or couple, and are curious about this, you may want to check it out, and possibly send a message to the "Site Support" (cough, cough) group!

To see how widespread this problem is, click on the New Matches tab on your Home Page .... View All (the blue tab below the pictures) .... then on the left side of the page check/uncheck the Filter boxes for (Find a) Woman .... (Who is seeking) Man .... (Between the ages of) 18 to 99 .... (Within Distance of) Any .... (Join date of) 3 days or less .... (Show) Members with photos .... then click on the blue "Search".

Whether or not the profile pictures have posted yet or not (if they are there they will be model/porn star quality), look for the following:

A woman's name, followed by two or three numbers, ending with two lower-cased letters (EX: Patti123ei ) , between the ages of 20 and 25, from one of the following locations:

Netherlands, Turkey, Sao Tome & Principe, Greece, St. Kitts & Nevis, Latvia, Trinidad and Tobago, Nicaragua, Bermuda, Malawi, Switzerland, Maldives, Cape Verde, Gabon, Guyana, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Tunisia, Tanzania, Grenada, Andorra, Western Sahara, Cyprus, Honduras, Angola, Bhutan, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Djibouti, Kuwait, Cameroon, Federated States of Micronesia, Monaco, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Turks and Caicos Islands, Malta, Macau, Armenia, Burundi, Bahamas, Chad, Guinea-Bissau, Cayman Islands, Estonia, Slovenia, Israel, Mali, Cambodia, Guinea, Guadeloupe, Lithuania, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Bahrain, Burkina Faso, French Guiana, Sweden, Angola, Suriname, Spain, Comoros, Kyrgyzstan, Norway, Seychelles, Lesotho, El Salvador, Benin, Aruba, Rwanda, Ecuador, Eritrea, Belgium, Haiti, Mozambique, Hungary, Niger, Namibia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Mozambique, Guadeloupe, Jordan, Nepal, Denmark, Oman, Fiji, Gibraltar, Central African Republic, Martinique, Laos, Qatar, Jersey (the country, not the State), Georgia (the country, not the State), Finland, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Madagascar, Cyprus, Turkey, Togo, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Angola, Algeria, Libya, Uruguay, and Barbados, multiple times.

And to a lesser degree:

Ireland, Poland, Jamaica, Bahamas, France, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Canada ( I haven't seen any from anywhere in the USA ..... yet!)

They will ALL have one of the following on their Introduction narrative:

Hi! Do you want to have sex right now?

Oh my god, you are sooo good. Fuck me hard, i'm waiting...

Hi sexy, I see yo're close, and I'm really in a mood to fuck and suck your...

Their Information will ALL be identical, except for Birthdate and Height.

Once you've looked at more than you ever wanted to, you may start wondering who is flooding the site with all of these fakes.

On some of the pages, there are as many as 11 out of the 20 profiles/pictures showing which is over 50%.

I have noticed that many of them also have a Introduction title on them with one of the following included in it, although not limited to:

goo.gl

babby.ml/42

chilp.it

is.gd

Which makes me wonder if it's not a group of scammers from Ghana or Nigeria, and this is how they get paid for how many of the fake profiles they post with their "identification codes" on them.

Or .....

Could it be the site is in some way responsible for this, so that they can build up the 'numbers' of those women in those little countries and remote locations to entice more guys to pay and join up to "Hookup, Find Sex or Meet Someone Hot Now" who also happen to be at or near these locations, that previously had low-to-no numbers of female members?

As A Follow-Up To Yesterday's Post -- A Warning To The Gullible And Uneducated Viewing Fake Profiles

After I wrote yesterday's Blog post, and read some of the comments, I got to wondering just how bad the "fake profile" infestation is on here --- and, not wanting to let my singular expose' of a male fake profile yesterday taint my sample size, I decided to look at the women's side of the fence today.

It only took about a half hour to go through 80 of the new matches (20 per page) with the search settings open to women seeking men, 18 to 99, having at least one picture, and living anywhere in the world.

Once again I will not be naming names, nor can I forget to restate this note:

CLARIFICATION NOTICE: The pictures seen on this Blog post are from the Internet and none of the web sites that they were obtained from had any warnings about copying or using them.

When checked by using Google Chrome's search for image feature it was found that ALL of these pictures have web site links to porn sites.

But the next photo collage is what really brings forth how rampant the presence of fake profiles on here are.

Hook up with the most gorgeous girls in town!! We are inviting you to join our group and participate our upcoming orgy events.

We are a small group of swingers and we are looking for new members
For inquiries just send a message.

Please prepared for the interview.

Yes, there are 7 profiles, all on the same page, with identical pictures, age, headlines, Introductions, etc. The only difference in them is the last two numbers of the profile names and their locations.

Have I missed something or are there now advertisements being allowed on here for whorehouse franchises?

I can only guess that this "entrepreneur" is taking advantage of the way most guys have their preferences set up for distance from their profile locations, and don't see these "gang-posts" of fake profiles all lumped together.

-------- And yes, even though I did report abuse on ALL of them, God only knows if and when they'll ever be deleted.

Fake Profiles: How Stupid Can Some Guys Get --- How Slow Can Report Abuse Be To Delete Them?

CLARIFICATION NOTICE: The pictures seen on this Blog post are from the Internet and none of the web sites that they were obtained from had any warnings about copying or using them.

Most of us who have been around these Blogs for even a few months have already read more than enough posts about fake profiles that use celebrities pictures on them, right?

Sorry, but here's another one that I saw yesterday, allegedly from Brooklyn, NY:

Without revealing the profile name (which would be a no-no), let's just say that this isn't the first time I've noticed this profile picture plastered on my screen.

Now, as many of us already know, all one has to do is use the search for image feature on Google Chrome, or Tineye if you're using a different search engine, and if that picture has any history on the Internet it will be so revealed, along with any and all web site links to it.

Well, guess what..? That's right --- there are a LOT of web site links for this one, but surprisingly the one that I *clicked* on was for information about an episode of Seinfeld!

" #3: Actor Name - Mark Metcalf "

Doug Neidermeyer = Bob Cobb (AKA, The Maestro)

" The Maestro (don't you dare refer to him as Bob Cobb) was played by the same guy that played Doug Neidermeyer, the overzealous bully cadet from the Omega house in Animal House. This is what we call "career longevity" for an anonymous character actor. "

As a conscientious member of this site I did my duty and used the Report Abuse link below the profile picture, checking suspected fake account and photo on the drop-downs, as well as providing a copy-and-pasted URL link in the Comment box.

That was yesterday (Friday, August 11th) morning.

This afternoon (Saturday, August 12th), it's STILL there!

Now, far be it from me to be critical, but why can't they take action on a reported abuse in a timely fashion --- And, can anyone provide a ball-park estimate on how long it usually takes them to actually delete these fakes?

No wonder the guys go nuts when they see fake profile after fake profile using pictures of porn stars, the Kardashians, Russian Mail Order brides, and ""..!
