Threesomes

Those of you who have been involved in a threesome, weather it be mmf or mff, have there been any regrets doing it? Has your marriage, sex life improved or has it ruined it completely? Would it disrespecting your partner if you ask them you want to have a threesome? If your partner isn't in agreement with you should you leave your partner, rather than force them to try it? By leaving them, would that show them you respect them? If leaving your partner is your only solution, wouldn't he or she eventually find someone else and have sex with them, anyway? If that is the case then why not do it for the person you are with now? When two people are truly in love would they not want to do whatever it takes to make one another happy? Would marriage counseling help or is it a waste of time and money? Are these counselors trained only to tell you what life should be like based on tradition?
