The day started late for me, with snow flying around by the time I left for work. It's only a three-mile drive, but sometimes it can be quite challenging!

Took me half an hour to clear the windshield of my van so I could drive safely, more or less, to the back of our shopping plaza where my job is staged from. For some reason, gloves and I don't get along, so by the time I was finished, my hands and face were frozen.

Short route on Monday and Tuesday; only 4 local stops in the morning, and 2--3 in the afternoon, all within five miles of the program. I just go home from my last stop and head out to the first pickup of the next morning from there. Saves time, and a LOT of angst, but at the cost of my time with the other drivers, which I miss very much!

B had the day off because of the holiday, so she's making a special dinner for us.

She's been on The Cape over 45 years now; same town, same job, etc., and is a very beautiful person in MOST ways.

I've been here fifteen years on 15 May; four different jobs, same town (which long ago set a personal record!), sane house (rented).

My problems with her are minor, I know that, but sometimes when she nags the fucking hell out of me, when she sticks her nose into MY business, or makes one of her snide little comments about my love of porn, spending habits, etc., I want to scream, get into my ancient Toyota and get hell AWAY!

Seems sometimes like I just CAN'T win!
