I was looking at the website of one of the U.S. presidential candidates & if he wins he wants to stop all recognition of any Trans people... So in practical terms that means your Drivers license & I.D. will revert back to the gender your were born with... No same sex marriage, no employment as a Trans person, no medical insurance.... The ramifications are far reaching.
Also, this candidate wants to ban all porn & make it illegal to produce porn. I don't think that will ever happen but it does give you a glimpse of his mindset.

I am surprised your post got through but maybe it helped that you didn't actually include the candidates name.
I question whether the site you were looking at was actually the website for the candidate. That is assuming you are are referring to a former president. I sample a lot of the cable media sites and try to watch the Sunday News shows which deal mostly with politics right now and have not came across anything close to that.
The only discussion anywhere close to the subjects you mention is the inclusion of transwomen in women's sports. That has been getting a lot of discussion in the media and has resulted in a lot of state laws (passed or being considered) and lawsuits.
I have also noticed that the current president's campaign is running a lot of ads. I have not seen any from the former president. None of those ads have touched on the subjects you mention.
The Trans part came from a video of him speaking about the subject that I viewed on his website. The porn part came from "Schedule F" plans.
As a trans person that makes porn, if I was living in America, I probably would feel a little uncomfortable.
@FionaRing I did a quick look at the website and didn't see anything on a video or a mention of "Schedule F" plans but like I said it was a quick look. Will need to go back and look further.

Absolutely! However, I didn't say that particular candidate was anything of the sort.
