This week's theme is Black & White, a popular theme over the years. I know I just used this pic last month, but it did come out nice in black & white.
Northern Japan is seeing more snow than usual, but it's been mild in these parts so the early-blooming cherry blossom is blooming later than usual. Maybe they'll be in full bloom this coming weekend.

I may try the virtual symposium, depends on what the topic will be. I noticed that you looked at my blog once . I don't know if you read any of the stories. The last page of the sea slut story takes place in Japan. Parts of it are kind of funny. Some of it is written in Japanese. Jeil4 is crazy
The virtual symposium is fun
Great use in a great photo. Sometimes a second look is appreciated 😈 it's trying to already warm up her in California even though we were supposed to have 6 more weeks of winter. I planted an orchard of different fruit trees in my back yard and all the grafted fruit trees are flowering but my multi cherry is not. I am a little worried everything is going to get knocked off to early by the rain that is supposed to come and the winds with it. That's the problem here with a warm week in winter. Everything thinks it's spring already. Fingers crossed they survive and produce fruit.
Harvesting fruit from your trees is certainly something to look forward to 😁
Nice pic! It was quite cold for a couple of weeks but we're getting a little reprieve with temps in the high 40's F.

Our winter had just slightly above norm temperatures overall, but with a few BRUTAL cold snaps. It seems spring has sprung here now.
