This week's theme is Vinyl. I still have a few vinyl records and even have a player that can convert the music to a digital format. I have converted a couple of albums that way. Gotta love tech that converts old formats to new ones.

Probably 15 years ago I bought the gear to convert LPs to MP3s, spent significant effort in getting the audio set up "just right", and learned how to convert them when spinning them faster than normal. I just never quite got around to doing the actual conversions. Eventually the associated computer was replaced. I never set up the new one, or the one after that. Eventually I ditched the turntable, and then took all the LPs to a broker and sold them.
I suspect we're going to set lots of LPs this week, but not sure any one will display them better than you have. Happy HNW.
I can plug in a USB stick to the player and it saves the converted music onto the memory stick 🙂

Well not sure how people wiil take this but from my love of music as a teenager, to DJ'ing and college radio I have a collections of about 4,000 LPs and 12" singles along with about 300 CDs. Still have my Technics 1200s and with my mixer and computer I can rip to MP3 and WAV files. It's interesting how when CDs were introduced that the music industry predicted the demise of vinyl and turntables but it's as popular as ever now, I used to have about 500 45s that a family member disposed of and I haven't spoken to them since. I've come to the conclusion I"ll never be able to convert my entire collection to digital so I just burn a few at a time
That family member deserves the silent treatment for disposing of something that didn't belong to them
@JN63JPN 18 years and counting unfortunately but you're correct. It was more than just those 45s, a lot of music related items that I spent my hard-earned money to buy.

I do have a USB turntable but have never actually sat down to figure out how to convert... Happy HNW!
Some work needs to be done on the PC. I use Audacity
I still have a very large collection of vinyl that I play very often, Paul Mc Cartney is a big collector of vinyl and I agree with him that the music sounds better on vinyl. I like your green panties.

I have an old converter for playing I need to reconnect.
I've converted live performance recordings from the radio to digital then to cd's. Those are some of my favorites to dance around in the driver's seat to.
Some music automatically gets you dancing 😁

I still have some vinyl and recently got a new turntable. The album you are holding, I can make out the soundtrack but cannot make out soundtrack of what??
