This week's theme is Things that start with Do Your Own Thing/Outtakes. I kept this one since it would be perfect for the Outtake theme 😂 No, I wasn't drunk. The phone slipped. It's supposedly waterproof, but I wouldn't want to take may changes. I do need to think about getting a new smartphone since the one I have is starting to slow down. I really want a Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but that sucker's gonna set me back at least 2 grand. I don't even want to pay 2 hundred.

I had my last phone before the current one for about six years I think. The current phone, two years so far. I just stopped getting charged the monthly payments for the phone, I’m just paying for service now. So I’d like to coast on that for a while.
I might have to invest more than I have been and get a decent phone that'll last for a while

I change my phone when the old one dies. And I will wait as long as possible before buying a new one. I like the peace and quiet, hehehe.

I think I've had this phone for 11 years now. I've gone through several led displays as they are fragile. Phones just can't take a bounce from a 12' ladder like they used to...
Mine currently has a cracked glass right across the lense. I should probably think about a new one, but I'd rather not.
Many, many moons ago, I had a little flip phone that jumped out of my scooter basket, skidded down the hill I was driving on, and it was still alive when I finally managed to retrieve it 😂
I never realised smartphones were that expensive. Bring back landline phones!

Hardly anybody uses landlines anymore.
Since I only use my phone for voice calls and WhatsApp, not for internet, I still have a 2014 iPhone, and I hope it lasts me another five years at least.
I lost the two previous ones in a way that was both comical and tragic… I used to keep my phone in my pants pocket at work, but they had shallow pockets (why women’s pants never have deep ones?), and when I stood up from the toilet, they fell straight in… and let’s just say they weren’t waterproof... 😄
