May is here

Been pretty busy the past few weeks as there was rapid exchange of tenants in the house... finally a problematic tenant left on his own accord but left behind some minor repairs. Thankfully the engineer was still around to assist in the repairs, till last Wednesday before he finally left for his homeland after retrenchment. We also gotten 2 new tenants to shift in for replacements so I'm stuck with paperworks and orientating the newbies.

I will have another tenant from the engineer's company also leaving end of June due to the retrenchment as their company is relocating to Thailand. But we are hoping the engineer will be able to find an agent in China to seek employment in SG again then he can come back to stay with us. Keeping our fingers crossed.

This weekend is my birthday so I already had a farewell & early birthday treat with all the tenants before the Engineer left. Last Friday night my Elder Sis also came for a simple dinner where I ordered cake and nice expensive Japanese bento sets to feast. Then my dialysis doctor came on recent Monday and I ordered cake and swiss rolls to celebrate with my medical team together.

As for this weekend, there's a Bishop from Africa coming for my church services. I plan to attend the Sat service and stay for a dinner with my current associate degree course mates. At first I was thinking of an African theme for my birthday week and maybe going out to the zoo for that safari concept. However, the recent weather is pretty unpredictable with sudden rain and thunderstorms throughout the week. It will be dangerous to tour around the zoo in my electric wheelchair in such weather. Not too long ago a worker in a local fish farm was struck with lighting when it suddenly rained and died.So we canceled the zoo trip. I ended up binge watching Sir David Attenborough youtube videos of animal documentaries instead.
