Remember me?

Hello, and how are you? How have things been around here? I've not been spending much time here, my profile is turned off currently. The other site I am on, while my profile is still there, I did edit it to say that I'm taking a break from meeting new people at the moment. Is it true? Hell if I know. I never know from day to day what I want anymore. Last Sunday I posted on cougarsandcubs on the place that sounds like a frog noise ( I've noticed this place has really gotten super strict about posting certain things). I think I get bored and lonely. The guys I've communicated with from doing that - I've yet to actually meet one - well, there have been some super intoxicatingly hot ones. Unfortunately they just seem to be looking for someone to send them pics and sext with them. Oh, and weirdo fart boy was from there. I still think about him. Sad, I know.

Bear with me, I realize this is just kind of a mess.

I meet someone new last week, but I don't want to see him again. Kind of arrogant, and the sex was very meh. Luckily the next day I got to see a friend I met here a few months ago. He knows how to please a lady 😉

My biggest piece of news, and what's affecting my attitude the most, is that I had to put my 16 year old miniature dachshund Pebbles to sleep September 19. I've been trying to mentally prepare myself for this for years. Didn't help. She was my baby. The absolute love of my life. My ex used to say he knew he would always be in second place, and I would assure him I loved them equally. That was a lie. He was correct.

My other dog is also 16. And he has heart problems, and I'll be very surprised if he makes it to the end of the year. I already feel so lost, so when he goes it's going to be very bleak.

At the end of September, I went on my yearly trip to Las Vegas. I had met someone nice here at the site who lives there, and we had plans to meet. After losing my dog, I just wasn't up to it. He was very understanding when I cancelled.

I did consider not going, but I ultimately decided it would be good to get away. And I think it was a good trip, I was able to relax and have fun. I even got flirted with a bit (I think) one night at dinner. I was seated at the bar, and a nice mid-thirties man from Texas was seated next to me. Nothing happened in the end, but I felt good about it.

Highlights of the trip were visiting The Pinky Ring at The Bellagio, Bruno Mars' new cocktail lounge, very nice and great music Happy Hour at The Foundation Room atop Mandalay Bayspending an afternoon at Frankie's Tiki Roomand last but not least, going to Disco Show. It's a new show/ immersive experience by the same people who do Absinthe. I had the best time. If you like Disco music and dancing I totally recommend it.

I guess that's about it. Otherwise I'm enjoying fall colors and cooler temperatures. I've seen some cool migrating birds in my yard.
