Some of my worst heartbreaks are delayed ones, ones which are experienced years after the end.
Delayed heartbreak is the emotional equivalent of getting a bill for a meal you finished three years ago, lol.

Great flick, with a memorable monologue.
Leo is a player, with or without a script.
I never thought about it like a "wall" or a brick, but rather like a second chance at getting it right. Every woman I have ever met (and fallen for) was perfect for me, at that time.
No two roses are identical.
Yet each one captures its own unique light.🌹
That distinction alone is the difference between building and growing.
Yes, every rose catches their own light. They open, blossom and then they fade, and maybe the point isn’t holding on, but honoring how perfectly temporary they were.
“Leo is a player, with or without a script”... that line deserves to live somewhere permanent.

Except for that time in my teens, when a long weekend, lots of alcohol, and a 'love-sick' choice with a much wiser (and manipulative) woman, I've become a pragmatist. I appreciate what a special lady offers, and don't look into the distance for a 'green light'.
I'm happy just to focus on her green eyes and other attributes.
Yep... it should. Lol... 😂
I ran into him in Montreal when He was filming Catch Me if You Can.
Well, not him, but his makeup artist... at a bar.😶
Of course, the beautiful thing about a wall is that it requires your constant permission to stand. Bricks are not permanent tissue, they are just heavy choices.
To break the wall isn't to become fragile again. It is to realize that you are far more capable and interesting than the walls you built to hide in. Eventually, (if you're lucky), you start to see that the wall is no longer protecting you...it's just getting in the way of a potentially spectacular view.
