Same song. Different eras
All right, cool cats and music lovers, Jungle Julia is dropping a two-for-one! First, the original that started it all…then the version that gave it a fresh coat of musical paint.
One is pure disco-soul strut...
And the other is a pop-and-hip-hop explosion.

Different eras, different styles, different production tools. I will go with the hip hop version as it is truly addictive. I'm a big fan of Missy Elliot rather than the other girls.
Original soul version...those ladies had it and you felt it...another original...I Fought the Law...was awesome...but loved The Clash and Stray Cats powerful performance...keep rockn Play!!!
Patty had the pipes... Christina had the polished vid.
They were both good.💕
I'm going for Patti LaBelle. I love disco!
The versions / performances couldn’t be more different!
Lady Marmalade was a staple of my high school parties in the UK in the late seventies. Such a sensual song, perfect for making love to.
Awesome!!!
