I met her at a friend's wedding last month and we've been seeing each other for a couple of weeks. Last night, she looked at me with glazed eyes and, with soul-crushing honesty — uttered those three words. My mind went blank.
What should you say to someone when you don't feel the same way about them?
I guess I could have lied. Or, If I'd had the time, I would have popped into my favourite social site and learned what NOT to say. The responses I later found in this list, are based on true-life personal experiences.
"I love you."
1. "I know."

I didn't have to think about my answer to her for very long. She began to shudder, quiver and squeal, as she closed her eyes and enjoyed her second (or was it her third?) orgasm.
I learned two things that night: I'd better have a good answer prepared for her next time, just in case.

When one woman told me she loved me, I replied with a passionate kiss: as if that might fool her. Another time, I responded with, "I love you too babe." I lied.
I have no balls and didn't have the heart to tell her that I didn't feel the same way about her. What can I say? I guess I could have remained silent.
