Hello Lovebugs,
How are you?
I'm hiding indoors during the hottest part of the day. Grand boy has a baseball tournament tomorrow and I will be staying home with my grand girl. I told them to leave the baby too if they can manage it. Cowboy will go cheer for both of us. I make it to the evening games but this all day, endless games thing will give me heat stroke. My contribution will be making jambalaya for dinner. I really should make some dessert too.
Tonight I was lazy and had Cowboy grill pork chops and corn on the cob. There was some Asian salad for us grazers, LOL. Simple and delicious.
The University of Oklahoma softball team won their 4th straight Women's College World Series. I am so proud of them! And this year the media coverage was much better. I was able to watch various games while out and about as well as at home. Congratulations Sooners!!

Hey, somebody has to make the jambalaya. 😉 I think I'd choose that over being in the hot sun all day, too.
I gave up intense heat years ago.
I just got back from photographing a 5K race. With the early start, It wasn't too bad, well except for the biting flies.
I saw about OU. Very cool.
I hate biting flies! They hurt!! I hope you smacked some and reduced their numbers. Hugs!!
We watched one of the ou softball playoff games with friends from down that way that were visiting up this way a couple weeks ago. Glad to hear they went all the way. And I totally agree that the all day in the heat is not a good idea for Gals like us. Hugs
I tolerated heat for decades then Hashimotos shut that down, LOL.
I feel for those out playing n coaching n watching those tournaments. Glad u could compromise. Good luck to the players.

Back in the day, Cowboy coached and I juggled the kids and kept the book. I'm not a spring chicken though so I gave that heat up.
I remember all the hot summers when my boys played in the local baseball leagues. Yes it was hot and humid but it was worth being hot and sweaty to watch them play. Those joyful memories from those days are still with me 😃
Watching the kids is so much fun!! I attend all the evening and good weather day games.

I don't blame you for not sitting through a summer tournament. The heat slays me, too.
I have Hashimotos and stopped handling heat. It ruins the fun if I pass out and have to go to the hospital, LOL.
