Some silliness today. Because my mind was way too heavy today.
A close up of one of my peaches before I sliced into her juiciness to make jam. I cannot say why for sure, yet she seemed to have been violated in some way. Or maybe she is upside down? And post violation? Hhmmmm ...
Today I had 3 lilies bloom. Cream, yellow and pink. One pic showed 2 of the lilies and I caught a dragonfly midflight.
Then I looked closer and saw a snake by one of the lilies. I fetched my net and scooped out half a snake. That's a first.
I'm guessing the livestock guardian dog did it in, then paused at the pond for a drink and dropped it? I dunno.
Things that just make me say hhhmmmmm ... ?

Naughty peach! Your lillies are so pretty! We had a dragonfly in the pool with us yesterday. It kept flying and dipping, flying and dipping. But snakes? Ewwwww!!

Yum @ that peach.....i can almost taste the juiciness! That pond of yours....i see fish too....and the lillies are lovely. Wow @ the snake.....don't they regenerate like worms? Me not fond of snakes or their families..... All one paragraph here cuzza that shift/enter feature. @sheila469
The shift thing is really irritating me too. Snakes do not regenerate like worms. Thank goodness!!

Got to love a nice juicy peach. And oh wow snakes are so dangerous I am glad you scooped what was left of him out of your lilies. I bet your lilies are just lovely I wish you could share them here with us.

I am g;ad you were able to spend some time away from sources that cause you concern. Apparently some things are coming to a head, decision, wise. Since you take such good pictures, is there any chance of you working with your timer, so you can eventually be in some of them? Maybe you could be looking at the pond, with your back to the camera? Topless, with your hands under your fine breasts, modeling your nails. I think you deserve to pamper yourself, to spend some time away from your problems .
The pampering will come. I have a good weeks worth of work ahead of me. Then maybe a few more days of work. I am going to take care of me soon. Maybe at the end of the month.
When I lived in FL, snakes (and potentially alligators), were the reason I always turned on the pool light prior to taking my pre-sleep nekkie dip.
Yikes!! So far, the tiny little snakes avoid us like the plague. Gators would keep me on the porch, LOL.
As a child there was a neighbor next door had this massive old peach tree it produced what seemed like an endless supply of large heritage peaches. There was so many produced by that tree he could not used them all. He would invite all the kids to pick as many peaches as we could carry in our hands. Have to say there is nothing like eating fresh ripe peaches in the summer right from that tree.
What a wonderful neighbor! We have been handing out sacks of peaches .... Hehehehe
