How are you? I had a weird nightmare last night. It seemed to highlight that I am and always will be a caregiver. It also echoed feelings of being unimportant. I gotta stop having nightmares. Ugh.
I like my daydreams better. They tend to involve biting hineys and making passionate love. I have a vivid imagination

Only when I'm behind the PC, cooking, driving, cleaning, listening to music, watching a movie or brushing my teeth. 😶

I rarely remember dreams but the ones I generally have are positive in content. Like daydreaming.
I'm sure our nightmares and weird dreams serve some kind of purpose but daydreams are much better on the whole.

A sexual caregiver is a life saver
I am sure that this is earth shattering news to you; but you have been a caring caregiver probably long before you got married. Why change things now? You will find out just how unimportant you will be; if you ever decide to stop doing what you apparently love doing, which is caring for others.
I have always been a caregiver. I carried multiple cousins on my hip at family get togethers. I worked at a day care center as a teen. I ran a horse rescue for years. I raised my 4 kids as well as others. One day, I want someone to hold my hand.
@PonyGirl1965 You should already know that I, along with dozens of us are willing to hold your hand, among other parts of your body ... like just holding you in my arms for a little bit.
This time of the year my day dreaming occurs at the community pool. 😁

I can't say I daydream but I sure have a LOT of dreams some nightmares but lots of sexy and fun dreams too.

I only have lots of dreams if I eat something sweet shortly before bed.
I dislike nightmares, especially the ones I remember. My anxiety has been through the roof lately. I'm worrying about Hubby and his possible surgery coming up (we see Dr. on Tuesday) and now my very pregnant daughter is having issues with blood pressure. Baby comes in 2 weeks, hopefully NOT sooner. I feel that I will be a permanent care giver, too. Ugh.
Lean into us. Hubbys surgery will hopefully be a step to a healthier status. IF he has to have one.
Encourage your daughter to rest. Lay on her left side and practice controlled breathing. She can literally slow her BP with her breathing. Have her look it up. On the positive side, the baby is safe to be born any day. Goal is to let Mom direct her own labor and birth rather than a C section due to high BP. So the more she takes care of herself, the better it will be.

@PonyGirl1965 I appreciate you, Pony! She has actually scheduled her 2nd C section for 8/9. Was first due 8/30, then 8/23, now with the BP issues, 8/9, with baby at 37 weeks. I know everything will be OK, her doctor is wonderful, but my brain is working overtime. I was wide awake and in the bathroom at 4am this morning.
@luv2suk1966 Slow deep breaths. Do you pray? I will go so far as to envision handing my problem or struggle to God. Let Him carry it. If you don't believe, maybe you can hand your stress to Mother Nature or some being that comforts you.
I understand your worry. Grand #2 was 6 weeks early. I was in the delivery room as they did the emergency C section. Big scare of losing my daughter. Then more sitting with the baby in NICU. Everyone is fine. For a while there, I wasn't sure. You have two souls at risk on your mind. Hugs!!!

While I don’t typically daydream, during special occasions or holidays, my mind tends to wander, conjuring up cherished memories of loved ones who have passed away or are no longer close.
I enjoy thinking of loved ones. Time has softened the rough edges so it is all sweet memories. Hugs!
