Went to a party yesterday, laundry and a trip to Menard's today, getting a crown tomorrow afternoon. Woo hoo.
Spent the day down at the Lower Sioux Indian Community a couple hours from home learning about the Honor Tax, their work on hempcrete and how they are reviving the Dakota language.
Hempcrete? I love that they are working to revive their language.
@PonyGirl1965 Hempcrete....used as an insulation material for years now in Europe it can cut heating cooling costs 40 - 70% where it is installed. The community is using it to improve old housing stock and on new housing stock. Yes, we toured their early childhood immersion school....too neat!
It's a 3-day weekend here, but no plans, since I was sick during the week and decided to not go on any day trips. Maybe a short nature hike instead.

Hello Pony luv, I did work stuff, then cleaned the two upstairs bathrooms. After that I got cleaned up and went to the Strip to meet a new lady friend. I was a tad tardy due to stupid Vegas traffic but they forgave me. They meaning, she had her female friend wither her as well. We sat in the speakeasy lounge at the Flamingo and chatted for awhile. When they asked if I was ready for a meanage e trois. Soo.. A good start to the weekend.
Now, it's time to get up on the roof and clean all the pigeons out from under the solar panels and properly wire the screens shut. I cannot tell you how tired I am of waking up to them coming in the early morning hours.
