How are you?
Did you have a good weekend?
Mine was low key. OU Sooners blew their game Saturday. They have so many players on the injured list that their season is greatly doomed. It's ok. I wasn't expecting much this year. LOL
Saturday night we went out with some of the kids for a birthday dinner. Everyone ate SO much good food. I had blackened chicken in Meunierre sauce. I still haven't found a recipe for it. Son had blackened pork chops in Meunierre. He's now a fan too. Cowboy had a massive platter of seafood stuff. Oh and they men all got Gouda grits. They are incredible and they top them with bacon making them even better.
Last week I got a yen and made chocolate chip cookies. For my birthday, I baked a pineapple upside down cake. Then I made son some chocolate rice krispies because he forgot to take the leftovers home last week, LOL. Too many leftover sweets in the house.
Obviously the food was the star this weekend.
My week looks basic.

For once I do have plans for the week! Coffee with a blogfriend tomorrow, art museum with friends, and a belated birthday get-together with a different set of friends on Thursday. P.S. was the dinner for YOUR birthday? If so happy bday.
Yes this dinner was for my birthday. My youngest son was born 8 days before my birthday that year. We get lots of celebrating in October

Hello Pony luv, it was a fun weekend here. My sweetie from VA came out and we saw the Eagles at the sphere. Well worth the price of admission. Even in the nosebleed seats the sound was like being at home with a high quality surround system playing. Not to mention the visual effects were to some enough to induce a bout of motion sickness. It was that immersive.
I love the Eagles!! Not so fond of motion sickness though. I hope that was brief.

@PonyGirl1965 Luckily I do not suffer from it. My sweetie on the other hand.. let's just say she would close her eyes every once in awhile. I mean when Don Henley says "I hope you brought your Dramamine", you know it's going to be good.
So glad you had a great Birthday dinner and sounds like everyone enjoyed their meals. Got to love some fresh baked goodies. I love Pineapple Upside Down Cake, I am going to try to make a Pineapple Dessert Pizza here soon. This week is full of inspections for us here.
This coming Saturday we will be celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary, which we will be trying a new Restaurant here called Bao Bao. I sure hope the egg fried rice and spring rolls are good.
That day is also one of my grandsons Birthdays, the youngest grandsons Birthday is tomorrow. Mine is on this coming up Sunday and my sons is on Monday so it's a busy week for Birthdays in my family.

Have some nasty stuff to deal with at work but otherwise nothing notable. Next week I'm traveling for training one day and staying local for another training so kinda looking forward to that.

Our weekend was pretty good! We're getting a new kitchen floor put in this week, so I had to empty my jungle of plants, move table and chairs, pick up shoes, rugs, etc... The floor we put in 10 years ago should've lasted longer, but we didn't know that it wouldn't hold up to direct sunlight. Oops! Seams are pulling apart, and there's a big hole under the chair rollers.
All flooring should tolerate direct sunlight! Goodness. As though we should live in darkness?
