So I was thinking of you while I was in the shower. Sexy thought huh?
What I was thinking about was how American's seem to prefer showers over taking a bath. I have heard all the fussing of sitting in a tub of dirty water, yada yada yada. OK I get it. You don't want to sit in your personal soup.
Then explain to me the popularity of hottubs. You sit in them with friends or family. AKA human sweat and butthole soup times however many people you invite to join you. Gross huh?
I was fresh and clean from my shower though

Dirtiest places on our bodies seem to be arm pits and buttholes. I call it like I smell it, LOL.

A nice hot bath to soak in feels good especially when your sore. But you do raise some valid points here. I love a nice long hot shower too!!
I miss my hot tub it made me feel so relaxed and got rid of the ache in my body from a hard long day. And a few other fun things went on in there too.. 😈😍

I rinse off well after a soak in the bath tub or the hottub.

Lol The hot tub has many Chemicals in the water. lol And there is nothing like a really nice bubble bath in a tub. LOL A shower is just faster. The tub is for when you have time on your hands. lol But I love this post good and fun thoughts.

Most bathtubs are too short for me to stretch my legs and be comfortable. I would use them more often; if they were about a foot longer and had a lower profile, so they would be easier to get into. I have bad knees and would like to soak more often.
Check into the walk in tubs with the doors. I've seen commercials for them on tv. Less work for your knees.
It is time , a shower is quick , a tub needs at least an hour .
If I am in the tub I definitely want to relax
Tubs ... where size really matters. I don't take baths because standard tubs are not deep enough to cover even half my body.
I want a soaking tub. No jets. Just deep water so I can sink in up to my ears and nose, hehehe.
I rather have a shower because it is faster and I like the feel of water hitting my body . Plus sharing it with my wife or with a playmate is a lot of fun when particular when I am with either one of them . Tub wise one of my playmates and her husband have a hot tub down at thier lake place where we get play time in it at times with invited guests.

When I'm in the shower and think of you the shower has to be extended while my soapy hand takes care of something that has arisen.
You're not wrong about hottubs, but I still adore them. Especially the ones at nekkie resorts.
I sit in our hottub. It feels good.
For me it is about speed. I can take a shower in about 8 min.... maybe a bit longer if I'm shaving my legs. It takes probably 5 min to even fill my big tub and I tend to want to stay in longer to relax.
I'm speedy in the shower then regret leaving the hot water so quickly

I like a shower to get clean and a bath to relax the muscles. Problem is not having a long enough tub. One of these days .. You should have seen me trying tubs while house shopping in Japan. That was funny.
As for a hot tub.. Again great for relaxing the muscles but also fun with the right partner with you.
Tubs are getting smaller here in the US. Shallower. I miss the old tubs our grannies had. Deep and comfy. Not long though.
@PonyGirl1965 Yep, need a long deep tub to soak in. The one thing I did like about the baths in Japan, they recirculated the water keeping it nice and warm. Those were good times, indeed.
I guess the answer is bathe more often or take a shower before going in the hot tub. I do like sex in the shower though.
I shower after the hotub. I want to rinse the remnants of the chemicals off my skin.
I would wash your back any time, if only you were closer.
