I do not like to shop. It is better if I have something very specific I'm looking for and don't have to go to too many places to find it. I really only go shopping a few times a year beyond the normal household necessities. Plus... not going shopping saves a ton of money and doesn't add more crap to the house that already has plenty.
I guess I shop at wally world for food and such, the feed store, randomly the hardware store. I never go in the liquor store. Anything else makes me reluctant. Do I have to go? LOL
It's fantastic when you go shopping but after that you're come exhausted
Being a man I am sure many will find it curious if not perverse that I enjoy shopping. I especially enjoy shopping for clothes for a woman friend. I especially enjoy "Zen shopping" which is really just browsing, looking a stuff like it was art with no intention of buying. HIgh end shops and thrift stores are best for that.
So what sort of whiskey is Cowboy's style? Bourbon, Rye, Canadian or Scotch? I enjoy a lightly smoky Scotch but would also like to explore Ryes a bit more. Am not a fan of Bourbons though that may be the only kind I have are the big mame but not very aged ones. Aging makes a big difference and can turn a only good for shots and mixing into a good sipping whiskey.
I do love a good thrift store. The kind with furniture and household goods as well as clothes. Though it can be sad to open a book and read an inscription. Did the person die or just not care? Was the book just not their style of book? Sometimes I hold handmade items and feel like I am intruding on someone elses life. Or rescuing a small part of it.
@PonyGirl1965 The kind you mentioned are the only kind worth going to in my book. They provide such a variety of items and all have a past which can sometimes make one wonder what it was.
Sending you big naked hugs.
Humpity hump hump
I can get carried away... I love jackets, jeans and boots 👢 😍
I agree, mowing the lawn is more exciting than shopping.
There is a local men's clothing shop in our downtown area where I buy my suits . I have tried in the past to buy off the rack at the national stores but couldn't find anything that could fit correctly with out any hassle . Yes the men's shop is more expensive but the results are worth it.
I agree. having a salesman made a huge difference. Totally worth the price.
I have turned into an online shopper. Sure, it’s better to try things on but it’s so exhausting!
I enjoy shopping online. It's peaceful. I'm comfortable. No pressure
I try to limit clothes shopping to once every three years or longer. Food or tools are a different story.
I love hardware stores! Not clothes ...
I am glad the suit buying was as painless as possible. I hate shopping too, it's never been my thing either. I would rather be home playing my game challenges..
I hope you both enjoy a Humipliciously Happy Hump Day
Humipliciously .... I love this word!!
Hate to mow the lawn, but it's better than shopping
Exactly!! Hehehe
For food? Yes... 🤗
For everything else... I'm efficient and don't mess around.
In and out. 😂👍
I try to always be efficient. I love lists and even more love ordering online.
I generally don't understand "retail therapy" but was once shown how shopping for vintage lingerie can be fun. 😁
Shopping with a lover is not realllly shopping to me. It's more about PDA and how far I can go
I'm a functional shopper; I only shop when I have to.
Me too!
Once in a blue moon, I will enjoy a day shopping. Mostly, I do Amazon. I wouldn't buy any clothes at all, but I need to look nice at work. I hope Cowboy has fun at the event, looking all sharp-dressed.
I love Amazon. They have everything!
I am not a shopper, would rather to do about anything else. Have a great day. Hugs
Big hugs!!!
Shopping is up there with visiting the dentist
