Congratulations!!!
You earned a cookie. I baked chocolate chip cookies this afternoon for Cowboy to take to a meeting. He brought a few home which I refuse to touch. He has a cold, so anything he touches is contaminated. Then there were the other nine people at the meeting, LOL. Those cookies are solely his now. Or they can be dog treats. I am not that hungry, LOL.
Don't worry, I am taking care of him. I think I finally have him convinced that Vicks on the soles of his feet stop coughing. He has orange juice in the fridge. Plenty of meds for his symptoms. He is not being neglected. Personally I would love if someone looked at a half dozen cookies and said, nope, they are all yours! I love my cookies, hehehe.

I'm not sure germs would be enough for me to pass on your yummy cookies but I'd kick myself later when I got sick because nobody has time for that. Lol

I survived Monday by not leaving the house and doing the laundry like I need to. I did take a lot of pictures and made a first stab at sorting them for delete, save and possible use for HNW. I also worked on a jigsaw puzzle and finished it. (I had to get it done before today so the table would be clear for cookie baking. Did laundry and cookies today. I have a lot of gift cookies I need to bake this week. Christmas is getting scary close.
I have no doubt that you are taking good care of Cowboy. Vicks on the soles of ones feet stop coughing? Never heard of that cure before.

HUH ?? Vicks on the soles of his feet stop coughing ??? How ? I think that if someone told you the cookies were all yours, they probably didn't like the look of them. The fact they don't want to share is a testament to your good baking.
Years ago, learning to use essential oils, I was told to put a drop or two on the soles of feet. Cover with cotton socks. Vicks has essentials oils that will absorb best thru the feet. If you just want to clear up your sinuses you can rub some on your chest or wherever you like.
What willpower you have!

@justskin1 Cowboy and his meeting were the reason I baked the cookies. I am not dumb though. I baked 4 extra for me. I know my weaknesses, hehehe.
And he has another meeting Thursday so I will be baking again, LOL.
@PonyGirl1965 I baked a double batch, 10 dozen, of my Mother's Christmas cookies last night. After freezing my bits off going grocery shopping for the month and for cookie baking supplies today I baked another 10 dozen of the Christmas cookies. Of the cookies I gift they are the wanted the most. They are also not too sweet. Double batch contains 10 cups of flour, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups Sorghum, 2 heaping Teaspoons of Anise Seed, 2cups of chopped Black Walnuts and 2 heaping teaspoons of Baking Soda in a 1/2 cup of hot water. If you want more info as in the complete recipe just ask. I do love baking cookies for myself and friends.

Tea withe lemon juice some honey and a good splash of bourbon will help a;so those Vicks tablets in the shower work great and I'm sure the cookies will go well with the hot toddy
Thank you for the reminder!! I haven't given him any honey. He drinks whiskey every night so he is good in that area, LOL.

Speaking of baked goods... I think I came up with the flavors of the Charlotte Russe cake for next week. Two layers of cinnamon cake with a layer of caramel with apples and mousse. What flavor for the mousse? Caramel? Chocolate? Perhaps vanilla? I'll think of something.

Mmmm Cinnamon cake with a layer of caramel with apples and mousse? Yes!! I would probably go mild with the mousse, so the cinnamon, caramel and apples are the stars. Maybe a good vanilla. The kind made with booze

My poor coworkers, I'm always experimenting with them.

Cookies n warm drinks only help with a cold.....lol. Hope he gets better soon !
