Elf on a shelf

I don't do the picture thing anymore as we don't really get to celebrate the Christmas Holiday anymore. But I used to every year with my kids and grandkids.

I see Nicky is being a naughty Elf still.. I just love his crazy Christmas Escapdes. I hope you enjoy a Thrilling Thursday too.. xoxo

When my kids were very young, trudging off to the mall was a holiday tradition. And when all the family gathered, there was the obligatory group photo.

It's been hit or miss over the years. I really tried to do it at least annually when kids were younger. We hadn't done one in a while so last year I got us all red and black plaid flannels and we took tripod out on the farm and took some pics.. actually the kids (19 and 22 at the time) and hubs were surprisingly cooperative. We had a few good laughs. No pics have been taken this year. We'll see if we get around to that.

With a few notable, and FUN, exceptions 😁, most of the people I know hate to have their picture taken. For now I limit myself to one good group shot per year to, you know, document how we've all aged.

It's been a decade or so since we took an Xmas pic, the last one was when both kids were in middle school? I think?

Well, the Charlotte Russe was a hit at the office holiday party and now I have coworkers wanting me to make some coasters for them. (I had made a mismatched set two years ago and put them in for the white elephant gift exchange).
