How are you?
Friday was good. We went to the drive in and saw Flight Risk, and Den of Thieves - Pantera. Both had good and bad points. It was entertainment to go with my bucket of popcorn, so I am not complaining.
Saturday started great then went downhill. This past week I reached an agreement to buy a home. Then today the jerkweed reneged. I am guessing someone offered him more money. My comment to Cowboy was that if it has a cock and balls, it is a lying sack of crap.
It was not one of my finer moments.
And dude didn't even have the courage to call. He sent a text.
Life improved as we had dinner with the kids. I love Cajun food. And my DIL said I can take dude to court for breach of contract. They are covering the subject in her classes the past week or so. She is working on her Masters degree. We had a verbal and written contract, so we actually have proof. I don't think it is worth the time or effort.
If it was meant to be, it would happen.
I say this often. If I am meant to be somewhere or have something or do something, it will happen. It has helped prevent me from beating my head against the wall a million times.
Don't kill off your brain cells folks! LOL
When we got home from dinner, I slid out of the truck to unlock the gate and looked up.
The sky had cleared and I could reach up to stroke a million stars.
Big stars. Little stars. Happy stars.
Life is beautiful.

Sorry about you not getting your house hun, what a dickweed he is for not calling and discussing the deal with you. I am glad things are looking up though and I hope they continue too for you.

I imagine you get a much better view of the stars than I now do from the city. I remember being able to see the Milky Way when I was growing up on the farm. Not sure when I last had the chance to do that. I think that I should put getting out in the country to just look at the stars and the milky way is something I should put on my list of things to do with Diane on a fine summer night.
You and Diane would greatly enjoy some star gazing. Maybe a little moon on bare skin

If I find the right property in northern Arkansas I will be gone so fast, LOL. This one was a tiny place at Lake Texoma.
As others have said, I agree that it's not worth your time and money to pursue a settlement. To quote an oft used cliche, "When one door closes, another one opens". You will find the one that is meant for you.

The plan was to update the place. Enjoy the lake. Then sell it for a profit. And yes, I am busy enough.
