Sounds like you had an enjoyable and productive day. I do hope if you got storms they were gentle ones. We could sure use some moisture too but rain will not be a lot of help till the frost goes out. You mentioning baking cookies reminds me I want to bake up a batch of ginger cookies in the next day or so.
Sending you big naked hugs and please have a cookie for me,
Korean beef sounds yummy π
The weather over the weekend was gorgeous! I went to see the early-blooming cherry blossoms.
But it snowed on Monday and we have cold rains today π±
The cherry blossoms are gorgeous!! The snow is kind of a downer when there are flowers blooming.
Your day sounds so peaceful and fulfillingβitβs wonderful to hear how much joy you find in lifeβs little moments. Spending time with the dogs and sitting in the yard swing must have been so relaxing, and your preparations for the upcoming planting season are inspiring.
Korean beef and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies? Now that sounds like the perfect combination of savory and sweet treats!
Sounds like you enjoyed your time. Yay for you! Our house was full until about 3 hours ago.
I love a full house. And I love my peace, hehehe. Life needs to be balanced.
You have had a busy weekend, and I hope you get some rain too, we got a little bit here but are supposed to get more. Hubby is making Spaghetti Sauce and it smells so good with hamburger and Italian Sausage, I am having my sauce with bow tie pasta.
Your cookies sound great I hope you enjoy them, and I hope your enjoying a relaxing Sunday too..
Glad you had a nice peaceful day. Let's hope for some BIG rains - without the twisty winds.
Some of the locals were asking if "all the snow we've had of late" had raised the main reservoir (which was down 7 feet below normal last fall). CLEARLY, they don't understand how much water in a few inches of snow! π
I don't know how it translates in Kansas - Our weather dude said we need 4 inches of snow to make 1 inch of rain. Depending on fluffy versus wet snow of course. He tried to tell my fellow Okies, snow does not help our drought much. Better than nothing. Not a big help, LOL.
I love Korean food. The Korean food I've had was quite spicy.
This has a teriyaki direction until I add the crushed red pepper. Then I get a little spicy kick from it
Was a cool windy day here in the hills of Virginia. Fed cattle and cleaned up the mess they made when they broke into barn with hay. Have so much to eat and have to do damage. Guess everything looks better on the other side. Also began to clean up from the flood couple weeks ago. Getting dry enough to get into bottoms. Enjoy your Sunday....Hugs.
Cattle are pains in the tushy. It's a good thing we eat them
I hope the flood clean up is simple.
Hugs!!
Have a gr8 one
Fri was in the low 50s ans today back into the 20s. It will be a long time before we're able to plant flowers.
20's .... Oh hon I am so sorry. We will have a few freezing temps but shouldn't get that cold. try to stay warm.
Hugs!!
@PonyGirl1965 it's not anything unusual for the North so I'm fine
Korean Beef sounds nice you busy bee π π
It's simple and delicious. A Korean cook would probably cringe at the recipe though, LOL.
@PonyGirl1965 Two days ago I cooked a Singapore πΈπ¬ chicken π cooked in milk, and added a jar of Thai Mussaman curry paste. I've been making wraps of it for the last 2 days. Lovely π π π π
@Strezlecki That sounds delicious!!
