I had a peaceful day. I turned on a movie and stitched down a quilt label.
My grandmother and aunt never labeled their quilts but the serious quilters insist you absolutely must add a label to the back. It usually has the quilt owners name, the sewist, designer or quilter or all. And the date. Maybe the name of the quilt.
The quilt I finished is for myself. I didn't give it any fancy name. It is a rainbow striped quilt and that's what is on the label, LOL.
Anyway I did take a few pics in front of the lilac bushes, fighting the wind all the while, LOL.

Close up and the lilacs

On another note, today is Palm Sunday, marking the start of Holy Week—a time of reflection and spiritual devotion for many. In its significance, I will be stepping away from the site for the coming days to observe this sacred time in reverence.

That is one lovely quilt even if it has simple not fancy shaped panels. It certainly is brightly colored and surely was sewn with a lot of love and care. I got out for some walking on Saturday and met up with Diane for a car ramble on Sunday. Not a great as last weeks but any time with Diane is special.

Hello Pony Luv, that is a lovely quilt with the perfect name.
I'm kinda tired today, spent the majority of Saturday night with a new couple. They are a blast and too funny. They will be fun to know better later on.
Today I'm going to work on entremets for the office. They are going to be white chocolate mousse with key lime curd with a sable cookie base covered in pastel mirror glaze. We'll see how it goes.
Ohhhh yummmmm! I love all things citrus. What is a sable cookie base?

I hear about them on most of the baking competition shows. I thought I would it give a try over doing a graham cracker base.
