How are you?
Our weather is cool and we are waiting on rain. I like the cooler breezes.
I spent my afternoon outside pulling weeds and planting sweet potato plants around the pond. They grow crazy long vines and provide ground cover. We'll see how they do around the pond.
I have 2 more sweet potato plants and a few bushes to plant. Then I may be done with spring landscaping.

I came across a shop run by a farm where they sold purple sweet potatoes 😁 They have a greenhouse raising blueberries. I’m not a fan, but blueberry lovers can enjoy blueberry picking in the summer
Today is April 19. I just got home from donating blood. Things were set up in a local churches fellowship hall. The walls were covered by quilts with religious themes. One showing the last supper. I thought of you, and how you could have made one of them. Happy Easter.

What a great garden you have with amazing plants and bushes. I have never been into gardening but my hubby has a great green thumb.

Mother Nature must be going through menopause - CRAZY temperature swings the past few days. Though with any luck we might be some rain shipped up from OK.
The rain was great until some folks flooded. The tornados - pphhfftttt I'm over those
It's a little early to plant sweet potatoes in Iowa but I love them!
To early for sweet potato plants here. Frost would get them. I have sweet potatoes bedded. Grow 4 variety's, sell a lot of them to feed and garden stores to resell. Have a wonderful Saturday.
Our springs and summers arrive hot. I pray we are done with frost
I put those and the purple ones in big planters. Love 'em!
Things have got a little cooler here but it's still spring-like weather.
I attended Good Friday services, and they were profoundly moving. The singing of The Old Rugged Cross, one of my Mother’s favorite hymns, brought forth a flood of emotions. And when the altar was stripped, draped in black, and the priest laid his black vestments before it, the solemnity of the moment truly struck me. I even helped drape the communion railing myself—it felt so humbling and significant.🙏
The hymns on holidays move me to tears now. I have heard and sang them thru life. I finally have a better grasp on their meanings.
I am so happy you enjoyed Good Friday Services. It's a rough day in Holy week for me. The idea of a son being nailed to a cross ... How great is His love for us <3
