How are you?
I got goofed up on days of the week again. And I figured out it is the kids fault, LOL. We got together with them on Saturday, instead of Sunday. I spent all day yesterday planning a taco Tuesday only to realize it was Monday. I was prepared for spicy, so I cooked jambalaya tonight instead. And told Cowboy I wanted to try the Mexican restaurant a couple towns over on Tuesday.

Years ago, I decided there were not to be tv's in the bedrooms. Bedrooms are for sleeping or sex. The men selling mattresses love it when I come in and emphatically state that thought. Science backs me up, though the wandering shoppers just buy mattresses better when they imagine themselves having successful sex on it.
And this is all before I flop on a mattress and ask someone to hover over me - 'I insist you mount me!' - so I can judge the firmness of the mattress. I hate shopping but I love furniture

I have tv in the bedroom, but it's only hooked up to a dvd player. Nothing worth watching on anyway. Have a terrific Tuesday

No tvs in bedroom though we've both been guilty of doom scrolling phones in bed. I really need to remove them from the bedroom too. At least they aren't usually on all night.

TV - one of the only things we fight about. Hubby wants it on 24/7, yes, even in the bedroom. I can fall asleep with it on, but if I wake up in the middle of the night, and it's on, I cannot go back to sleep. The sleep timer is our best friend. My daughter, the behaviour analyst, says that the person that needs the TV on all night has experienced some sort of trauma. I tend to believe her.
Trauma makes sense. You have a smart daughter.

You are smart. I love reading books. But I often have tv on in the background. Often with music. Then I have to watch the weather. Tornados must be given their proper due.

No TV in my bedroom and never had one there though I always keep a book or three by the bed. Often at least one of them contains erotic short stories. In fact I have a dozen or so collections of erotic stories on the shelf in my bedroom.
I should replace my mattress as it is rather old. Would you help me shop and judge the the firmness of of any prospect? Your method sounds like a very good one and since you sound like you have some experience with checking the firmness, not to mention your many other alluring qualities, it would make mattress shopping fun.

I've never had a TV in my bedroom. I will admit though that I have an iPad next to my bed and spend enough time on it that it qualifies as a TV-level distraction.

Yes I have a TV in the bedroom as there is no sex that happens there anymore and honestly the TV puts me to sleep sometimes but no I never leave it on all night long.
