AFF origins
I formally joined AFF in September 2007. A long, long time ago. I had been on another site and just morphed to here. For all I know, that site was a precursor to this one. The previous site was profiles and chat rooms. When I came here, that was all I knew.
Many wonderful hours were spent in chatrooms talking to like minded people. Once I found the Oklahoma City group, I started meeting everybody face to face for karaoke on Wednesday evenings. Lunch on Fridays. Parties on various weekends. Float trips. Camping. It was a lovely life.

Hubby signed us up in 2005. We had already been swinging, and this was another way to meet people. It was nerve-wracking, but really exciting to meet the people we were flirting with online.

Atleast you used to be able to lol. I haven't met anyone in years.
It was a pleasant surprise to be warmly welcomed by the regulars of the local chat room. I started organizing group dinners to share laughs and good food. Sadly everybody moved back home and not many new people came in.
Been here for awhile...haven't met anyone...but I am just here for the articles......lol

It was a lot of fun for me in the beginning too, the chat rooms used to be such a fun place. A group of us from the NorCal Chat room would meet once a month for lunch too. We always had a great time. Then my close friend passed away may she RIP, and then we all stopped meeting.
Times sure have changed here on the site, and well they just don't seem to be as fun as it used to be.

DANG, you've been here longer than me! (But not by much.) It wasn't till much later that I started coming to OK regularly though.
We had a small group here, but the main organizer left and handed it over to another lady. She ran it for a while but quit after she re-married her ex, and things just kind of fell apart after that.
Hello Pony Luv, oh my... When did I join this site? It was either '02 or '03. I just moved into my own apartment after being dumped by the gal I was dating and was looking for adult friends. Whaddya know? Right?
I have met so many people from this site, in several States and a couple of countries. Met some great and not so great people, had some memorable times with the former. Now I just read blogs and wonder when will I get a laptop again and start writing.

I wander the internet on a laptop. Using a phone for surfing just annoys me. I want a big screen and a real keyboard, LOL.
