How was your weekend?
Monday go well?
I shopped and cooked for a grand girls birthday at my house over the weekend. Last minute. Why don't people plan ahead?
Today I assembled the last pieced block for the current quilt. I laid the blocks out and need to figure out some sort of arrangement. Right now it looks like someone yakked up a rainbow of stars. Tuesday I will rearrange and try to figure something out.
I am already looking forward to next weekend. Cowboy will be gone riding side by sides. The quilt top should be assembled and hopefully off to the quilt shop to be put on their massive long arm quilting machine. I will have peace and less responsibility.
Though it is time to start my Christmas shopping ....
Oh! Oh! Oh! The Monarch butterfly's are here in droves!!! I saw a few flitting among the milkweed flowers last week. Today I had dozens swarming thru the flowers. It was incredible!! I took a video but I wasn't close enough to fully capture the gorgeous flutters. I will try again.

So lucky to get monarchs! I can’t remember the last time I saw one.
My weekend and the next few weekends will be spent helping with harvest. Even nights after work, luckily I get tonight off. I need it. I am beat and it's just beginning.
Harvest is a round the clock work effort. Rest while you can. Hugs!!
We don't get many Monarchs over here mainly in the south but not many survive the winter. I keep seeing a peregrine falcon but I never have a camera to hand.
It's funny - I never see Monarchs during the summer. Just on their migration north, then later to the south. I guess they aren't fond of Oklahoma, LOL.

I don't see nearly as many monarchs as I used to. Probably just as well. Those little buggers are skittish as hell and frustrating to try and photograph.
Totally skittish!!! If I breathe, they spook. It's going to take forever to catch them on camera.

The hummingbirds should be there, too. My feeder has stayed full for a week now.
My home hummingbird flock started their migration. It's just the random travelers now. I will miss them.

Hello Pony Luv, the weekend was productive and on Sunday I woke up to the sound of rain falling. Not a normal sound here in Sin City. Monday was a dull day at the office. We are just waiting to see if there will be a shut down or not. Why are politicians such children?
Anyways, next weekend I'm busy tidying up the house and picking up my rental RV. I will be going to Texas to work the F1 race in Austin before heading to VA. I'm hoping to make some international contacts to work other races next year. It should be fun.
The shutdown is imminent. Politicians are narcissistic morons.
The race will be fun.

The weekend was great! Another 85 degree Saturday on the motorcycle!
However, we are headed to the hospital in a few hours for Hubby's angiogram. Hoping if there is blockage, they can blow it out while they're in there. Always something. I'm jealous that you get time alone at home. Christmas shopping??? Oh dear.

All is well! No blockage, they think his A-fib is coming and going, so he'll need an ablation in the near future. Good news!
Was a busy weekend as usual for me. Charity ride on Saturday. Two hour drive biological dentist Monday. Hope your Tuesday and week ahead is blessed....Hugs

It was a good weekend almost good as hildas...looks like the last of the hummingbirds are gone they where moving last week..have a great upcoming week and weekend
My hummingbirds left to migrate too. Thankfully the butterflies came to entertain me, hehehe.
