How are you?
How was your weekend? Some have a 3 day weekend as Monday is a holiday. It can be Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples Day or No Bra Day or Breast Cancer Awareness Day or or or .... I kid you not, that when I looked it up on the internet, there are easily a dozen causes for October 13th. In my world, it is Monday and has chores like every other day. Isn't life glamorous?

Weekend was good. Sat night I took a tour of a local historical cemetery with reenactors portraying some of the "residents"
Monday day, for me, is bowling day!

@PonyGirl1965 It was actually a very interesting evening. The "ghosts" thanked us for joining them and then told us a little about themselves. There was a theme of City at War so the "ghosts" were all veterans or historical townsfolk involved in supplies or manufacturing - depending on which war.

Jeez. That's a lot for one measly Monday. We spent Monday in the car, coming home from MN. (8 hours) We had a wonderful time with the kids, including visiting an aquarium! Hadn't been to one in years. I also drank hard apple cider for the first time. Not bad!
Yikes on 8 hours traveling. Those are hard days. I am not good at sitting so much. Kids are so worth it though

I was antsy, for sure. Part of the way, I watched Netflix on my phone (Ed Gein Story), until the glare and movement made me dizzy.
Hello Pony Luv, it has been a busy but sad weekend. A sweety of mine has to put down one of her cats, he had total kidney failure.
I finished up the stairs, just waiting for the finish to cure before the final sanding. Cleaned up the house and just picked up the rental RV to start my trip to the Circuit of the Americas to marshal the F1 race. Then off to VA. Fun times ahead.
It is horribly sad to let go of our pets. I struggle with it. I hope your friend finds peace.

Hubs and I both forgot it was a holiday as it isn't one either of us get as a "holiday". He put a letter in the mailbox and I drove to the bank to do a deposit. Oops. Alas, it was a dreary rainy morning and I moved slow getting out the door for work. Mid-morning and I finally made it into the office, but I'm still procrastinating. Oh well...maybe it is sort of a holiday for me since there are so many things to celebrate...now to go make mammogram appointment. LOL
Cowboy and I worked weekends and holidays for years. They were just another day

You know the Potus took away this day and named it something else I saw on the news yesterday. Such a shame this is supposed to be Indigenous Peoples Day part of my heritage.
I hope you don't work to hard and get to enjoy some fun today too. I hope your Monday continues to be a momentous start to your new week..

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving 🦃. Yesterday, I had turkey dinner with all trimmings with my daughter. Today, I am going on a scenic day trip which includes a traditional turkey dinner at Mrs. Mitchell’s, a private tour of the McMichael Art Gallery and wine tastings at the Magnotta Winery. Expecting to see beautiful fall colours 🍁
