How are you?
It is raining! Wahoooo!! We haven't had a good rain in a couple of months. It has danced all around us. Today, someone roped a good cloud. It thundered and spooked my dog. Misted a bit. Then finally while we were eating our old school sloppy joes, it started a light rain. The ground has been so thirsty. Now it can soften and start absorbing this blessed rain.
My Saturday will be football.

My brother needs help raking the ten tons of leaves littering his lawn. Or was it to help him eat BBQ ribs, drink his beer and watch football? I'll figure it out when I get there.😶

Yeah... That's what I told him. He claims HIS is busted, and — supposedly — WE could use the fresh air and exercise.
I have a strong feeling we'll also be lugging a freezer into his basement.😶
Leaves break down and become good mulch. Also Oklahoma has enough wind that if I wait a while, the leaves will all blow away, LOL.
I am so glad your getting some rain, I look forward to when we finally are able to get some too. Sloppy Joes sounds so good I need to make another homemade batch too. I hope you enjoy your Football games today.
Nothing planned here, except tomorrow is our 30th Wedding Anniversary, not sure what we are doing if anything yet.

This afternoon, I am attending a Lift Up Our Hearts Service by the Anglican Diocese of Toronto ⛪️. It will include great music, inspirational preaching, a lay member’s reflection and an anointing, followed by a reception. Tonight, I will be watching game 2 of the World Series, which the Blue Jays are leading 1-0 vs the Dodgers ⚾️
The church service sounds wonderful. I love fresh inspiration and peaceful people.

I went to wine country to enjoy some wine tasting. It was raining a bit when we first got there, but the weather held.
Rained here too, and is raining again this morning.
Tough decisions come 11AM, Sunflower showdown in Lawrence and Ole Miss in Norman. Thank goodness UTubeTV has split screens!

I took off work yesterday, and we got the pool's winter cover tied down. The storm last week just about blew the whole thing off! I put the deck furniture away, took down all the wind chimes. We both cleared out the enclosed trailer so we could put the golfcarts away for winter. Today the kids might come out to hang with us. Chill....
