Hello My Sweet Friend's,
How are you?
I spent my afternoon deep cleaning and moving furniture. Yes, I got nuts.
Cowboy finally repaired the electricity that runs from his shops break box. So I have power to the sewing shed again. Yeah.
Except I still prefer sewing in the house so the dogs can all lay at my feet. There's a snag there. And a lot more work. So it will wait. In the meantime, I moved my stuff back into the shed. 2 machines, one in its own cabinet. My ironing board, iron, 3 bags of batting, 2 cutting mats, a couple of small boxes of fabric, a quilt that needs binding and a stack of pieces waiting to be made into placemats. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates in a couple - few months - How far back was it that the power died and he promised to fix it the very next week? Whatever ...
Since I was on a roll, I started pulling clothes out of the dresser in my bedroom. That one was going to a different bedroom because I hate dusting it. We moved in a simple, elegant dresser I bought used several years ago. I have a thing for used stuff.
Did you know if you don't move a dresser for 10 plus years it gets really dust bunny ish underneath

When I move the bed I anticipate a dust bunny city under there. It needs done, soon. LOL

Sounds like you have been a busy lady, I am glad you have power in your sewing shed once again and you can get your quilt finished. Yes moving stuff is hard work and it's funny how certain things collect so much dust.

Oh yes...I have definitely experienced that dust bunny thing with furniture that's been in place forever!

No real point in having the sewing shed if it's not used. Good that the power is back, but why can't the dogs be at your feet when sewing there?
It is small and boring. They are big and bored, LOL.

You really did get on a roll, Pony! I had to laugh at the dust bunny discovery—those little creatures seem to thrive under furniture that never budges. Glad Cowboy finally got the power sorted, even if the dogs still win the argument about where you sew. Your list of quilting supplies makes me want to peek into the shed myself—it sounds like a treasure trove!
I need to tidy up the shed and takes some fresh pics. I still haven't hung anything on the walls. It's still very sterile.
