How are you?
New Year's Eve I was lucky enough to find Hippie's chat room before everyone left the party. It was sweet to chat in real time with friends. And ring in the central time zone New Year with happy people. Cowboy had already settled into bed 
New Year's Day I relaxed. I watched the Rose Parade filled with pretty, botanical floats, marching bands and pretty horse groups. Then I watched a little football before changing the channel to watch the movie, Back to the Future. The dogs and I went out in the yard to play. The Labrador is a ball chasing fool. Meanwhile, Cowboy was at our sons watching ALL the football games on multiple screens. I declined the information overload, LOL.
They say that what you do on New Year's Day is a hint to what you will do all year.
So a day of contentment, relaxation, sexual pleasure, laughter, etc is a good start.

I missed the chat. Too many mimosas 😂
I started the new year watching fireworks at midnight, then went to view the first sunrise. I also went to a small market and enjoyed a very yummy custard pudding and venison burger.
I took the pic of the full moon on Saturday
Sounds like you started the year on your own terms. Mine was simple and peaceful, especially with that New Year’s Eve deep‑freeze still hanging around. Hope 2026 treats you well!

We just ran a couple of errands, and then stayed home watching some shows and indulging in our tamales for good luck for the year.
Today I am making my nachos for my game later today and looking forward to them as they are so delicious.

How did I start my new year? Let's just say I plan on ignoring the 'hint' for the upcoming year!
Our year is hopefully what we choose. I prefer to be outside, yet most Jan 1st's find me indoors doing tasks, LOL.

After watching the Rose Parade, which I always do, I made travel plans. So I hope that legend about what you do on New Years Day is true, and not just the planning part.

I spent the new year day helping cut bulls, moving bulls, and preparing barns for calving. Today is the big sort , sorting off the heavies that will start calving soon. Thankfully our weather has been nice and mild! I don't want to say that too loud though. I think we a freeze branding heifers this next week too.

Hello Pony Luv and Happy New Year to you and yours. As I told you before I went with family to a locals casino for dinner and watching the fireworks over the strip. The weather wasn't the best (cloudy & drizzly) but the fireworks were neat to see. We then gambled for awhile then headed home.
New Years day saw me getting bagels for us to have for brunch and we played games (skipbo, phase 10, etc.) or watched YouTube. A nice relaxing day.
You saw the Rose parade? Some friends of ours got to tour the staging area for the parade before it started. We could have joined them but.... Nah too long of a drive.
I love the Rose Parade. All the beautiful flowers and stories behind the floats interest me.
