Today was pie baking day. I did other stuff too but the pie's were the creative part.
Lemon meringue and chocolate meringue.
I licked the lemon custard spoon after filling the crust. Yum!!
Now I need more eggs so I can bake one for myself, LOL.

Those pies look marvelous! I love pie but am intimidated by pie crust - like Hippiechick I probably would need to use premade crusts.
There is nothing wrong with pre made pie crusts. In the pan or rolled waiting for your pan, it is all home baked.

Pony, that one photo was dangerous enough — two pies in a single shot should come with a warning. I’ve never even heard of chocolate meringue before, and now I’m tempted. You really outdid yourself with this one!
I am sorry I didn't know to warn you. Hopefully I can remember for the future. Spring is coming and there will have to be fruit pies.

Hello Pony Luv, yesterday I took a much needed nap after work. Then made dinner and to close out the night I took out the trash bins and collected the mail, which went into the recycling bin. Today is my quarterly driving in a company vehicle towing a trailer, next week I'll take the mobile command post out for a drive as well. Fun times ahead.
Naps are such a luxury. I am so glad you found time for yourself.
