It is sad such people exist. And while our natural reaction is to dislike them, I think we should pity them. If they have to disrespect others to make themselves feel better, how sad must their lives be. A smile or complement costs nothing and yet can make everyone feel better.
Regrettably, there will always be "haters" and really since they know nothing about the person they "hate" their comments say more about themselves than anything.
Meanwhile, stay strong, sweetie; there are many here that love and respect you.
