Brown "E's": Tell your coworkers you made brownies, but instead, bring in a plate of chocolate "E" candies.
Mouse Trap: Place a small piece of tape under a coworker's mouse sensor to confuse them when it doesn't work.
Drive-Thru Confusion: Pay for the person behind you in a drive-thru and leave a note that says, "I'm watching you".
Fake Bug: Place a realistic-looking fake bug in a colleague's desk or lunch bag for a quick scare.

Did have two more, once at work before windows, edited the basic program to display colors black on black on someone's pc so that when it was turned on, the sign on box did not show, when asked why it did not work, typed in password and screen became normal and then re-edited color scheme. played a prank on my younger sister by editing old autoexec.bat, set it so when turned on it sail hello mil and then pause, then hello mil pause, her neighbors laughed because they knew what i did, then i fixed the autoexec.bat file
AUTOEXEC.BAT takes me back a long, long way. 😂 How's this for a prank: take a screenshot of your coworker's Windows desktop, move all of the icons to a hidden folder, make the screenshot the wallpaper, watch with satisfaction as your coworker tries to double click icons and nothing works. 😎
@FluffyInTheD back in the old days, started with dataspeed 40s, then on to pc-xt, pc-at, at&T network box, wang VS6, WANG VS-65, wang pcs, at least 7 languages from BASIC to FOCUS, but basic is not basic since every remote server had its own variety, cut my teeth on punch cards into an old ibm computer that took up the space of a large coffee table and an rca spectrum 70, and last of all pdp1170s and 1134s with disk drives the size of washing machines

I've not been pranked yet today!
Me either except for the damn tree cutters here, we went out earlier and asked them if we need to move our truck they said no. And then when we came back they said we did. It's a cloudy and off and on rainy day so I hate being parked so far away.
I am making my famous nachos today and I have to go get the hot chips for them in a bit.

Filling the sugar container with salt seemed to be a popular joke at a company I worked for. That gag only worked once, but we all got to laugh. Except for the guy with the ruined coffee. 😲
You know that is a very old prank I remember some friends at a restaurant used to do that, so we would always check the shakers before using them.
