Another Year

Another year and another Birthday. As I get older I have realized my patience for stupid has gotten less but my patience about life has gotten better. I enjoy life even if it's not going as planned. I enjoy the small things more. Still find that first sip of tea in the morning to be enjoyable, a hug from one of my kids out of the blue heartwarming, a note from a friend that brings me a smile, a hike that finds a secluded spot with an interesting view, the mmmmmms you hear when someone takes a bite of a meal you cooked. I've always been a glass half full person, except my wine glass fill that up lol, even when life has thrown a few curve balls. So in celebration of that I will try to enjoy another birthday and another year and cross my fingers that life will toss me up a few easy hits and less curves, unless of course they come on a beautiful friend lol.
