THE ICE QUEEN- GOD SPEED MOTHER NATURE

I have been called the Ice Queen the odd time on this site due to my long-time ice skating career. Once in a blue moon by others who may not like me, as I can come across as Cold As Ice like the lyrics to a Foreigner song..lol.

Last weekend here in Ontario, it was for a different reason, as most of Ontario and parts of Quebec were hit with severe Ice storms and freezing rain. My town, although we had the freezing rain from Friday night until mid Saturday where it stopped, before a second wave of it came down until early afternoon on Sunday, the damage was minimal compared to others. Some of my friends and family 5 minutes outside of town were devastated and a few remain without power still, almost a week later..

There has not been any signs of Spring here in my Back Yard as Mother Nature has been off her meds this past Winter for the most part. Not only here but in other countries and areas with Tornadoes, Twisters, Mass Floodings, Landslides and Earthquakes like Thailand. Let alone wild fires and Volcanic Eruptions..

Whether/ Weather it is Climate Change due to mankind that has pissed Mother Nature off so much that she is unleashing her fury like a Red-headed woman (me) or not, if you live in countries and areas being hit hard by any environmental destruction, please Stay safe if you can..

With my upcoming flight shortly to B.C. and Ontario's weather, I have been keeping my eyes on The Weather Network and Environment Canada to make sure my travel plans, especially coming from Toronto at this time in April, ( which I never do to begin with, because it is April and not June, I am getting a tad worried.) Ontario itself is expecting snow flurries this week, just prior my flight.. I had an argument with my son when he first told me the date of the wedding, Easter Weekend to talk to his other half and ask her to maybe change the month, as April in Ontario is vastly different to April in British Columbia, travel and weather wise.His intended was not veering, nor would give an inch.. Bitch!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

My fingers are crossed for this Ice Queen in Ontario, ticket bought and paid for already, being able to fly to British Columbia period for his wedding, due to my weather here and the month of APRIL itself, who has to travel anywhere thinking April Showers, bring May Flowers.. When one lives in CANADA, any April Shower from Mother Nature brings Freezing Rain and ICE storms..If you are my age and do not know that by now, I pity you. .
