Yeah, it has been over a month. Sorry about that. Hadn't felt inspired about how to post a HNW picture nor feeling very talkative of late. But I remembered that I had just the pair of socks for this week's HNW. I consider myself at least almost half dressed as I am not only wearing the socks but I am also wearing my rings and hearing aids without which I would feel totally undressed. The almost half dressed is because for some reason I failed to be wearing my watch.
So, here are my HNW pictures. (Of course, I couldn't post just one.)
The discreet, for me, R rated one. I do regret that I failed to get all of me into the picture.
Happily I manage to get all of me in the picture while avoiding an X rating.
For those of you who seem to like seeing pictures of me that are X or somewhat X rated I have posted a more revealing picture at the very end of this post.
We had a wild late evening/early night here yesterday. Not sure if the area had any tornadoes but we sure did get a deluge of rain with very high straight line winds gusting up to 80mph. (128kph). Lost power between 8:30 and 9:00 PM. I forgot to check the time right away. Did not get power back on till just before 7:00am this morning so I missed the local news and reports of damage etc.
Diane and I are still going strong. We have been doing a lot of nature walks through the local Arboretum, Gardens and Conservancy's enjoying the spring flowers etc. We intend to meet this PM to celebrate my last PT appointment. My new shoulder is doing great! It is even better than the other shoulder. Late last month was my Ex's and her partner's birthdays. Her partner turned 80 so she had a party for her. I was invited to supply the birthday cake. She had put 70 candles on my cake when I turned that age I decided to put 80 on hers. I got a few pictures of it so here is a shot of that bonfire.
The weather here has given us some sunny and very warm enough to go naked days and last Saturday was one of them. I had seen Diane on Friday so decided to go to Devil's Lake. The parking lots were full because the Big Ten women's Rowing Championship was to be help there on Sunday. The crews were there to practice and the Media and Etc were there to set up. There were fewer people there for the beach till about the middle of the afternoon. Still it was a beautiful day and I was wearing a new suit that was not red. (I had to replace a couple from last year and and added a not red one to my order.) I did not get a direct picture of me in the new suit. However three different groups of women asked to take my picture with them so someones got a picture of me in that new suit.
I had said I would show the full view of the glassware etc. on my window sill in my last post. I did so while wearing my new turquoise suit so here you can see the sill and me in my suit.

Thank You! If anything, Diane and I are going stronger than ever. I admit that I am still amazed that we have found each other. Just goes to show that as long as you keep yourself open to possibilities there is hope.
It was a fun day. While red is a great color it is good to sometimes wear a different color.

I am happy to say that the socks and their positioning covered about as much as I wanted them to.
The winds really did a number on the trees in the area. Many did not survive and a lot more have missing limbs. Happily there was not threat of wildfire as getting over 4 inches of rain in a few hours scotched that possibility.

I just don't feel dressed without my watch. The sock are fun and the glassware do add a nice touch to the decor. Sadly one of the blue goblets was broken by the storm. Wind arrived with a sudden gust that blew them onto the floor. One survived.

Dressy socks should always be on the fun side to offset the effect of dress trousers. I have a pair with parrots wearing a Santa hat too for a different season.

We had torrential rain here too - maybe 4-5" over late afternoon/evening? I spent a good part of the night wiping up water that was seeping into my basement.

Water in the basement is a major pain. Hope nothing got damaged from the wet.
I thought they were fun so I bought them some time ago. I also have a pair with parrots wearing a santa hat. May show them in a more appropriate season.
