Yeh, I have been AWOL these past two weeks. Did not post last week's HNW as the idea I had did not pan out and I had a busy week. I could not think of how to do a post for Masterbation and was going to skip again. Then yesterday when at St Vinnie's with Diane I saw this scarf and thought that between the pattern and being so very sheer, it would make for a good HNW item of attire. Sheer Lava-Lava's seem to be something I cannot resist posing in. But then I am a firm believer that covered, or partially so, but not concealed makes for a fun tease. Naturally I could not pick just one picture so here are some of the better, and perhaps slightly more demure, photos.
I seem to have a problem with cropping the top of my head off when taking selfies even when using a tripod and shutter delay. The fact that those also show me with the better facial expression, Relaxed smile vs Wooden face, is why I use them. I rather liked my expression in this one.
Again a cropped head but I loved the way the light made the fabric and my thigh glow.
Thought I should include a full face picture with this series. I liked the pose even though my face was caught off guard.
Here are a pair of pictures of me trying a bit of a different pose. I kind of like the backlighting through the sheer material. I will say that the second picture is a bit deceptive. The combination of the scarf's pattern and shadow seem to be showing more of me than it really is.
I have been trying to stay off of of my computer of late. Getting on it too often leads me to the news and the state of politics which is not good for my mental outlook. Also I have been keeping busy lunching with friends, Diane especially, and various items I have not been able to put off. I did have a good time Saturday at Devil's Lake though the storm that was not forecast to show till 6 or 7 PM arrived at around 3 PM. Fortunately I got my stuff into the car just before the deluge arrived. Sunday Diane and I were invited to her Sister's for a picnic lunch to celebrate her upcoming birthday. Yesterday Diane called me in the morning asking what I had planned. Told her I was trying to overcome the inertia of avoiding doing laundry. She asked if I would mind putting it off one more day so I could take her out to a special place to just enjoy the outdoors. Told her I would pack a picnic lunch and did. When I got to her place she had almost called me to cancel as her tummy was feeling unsettled. She was having some problems with being in the car for some longer times. We changed our plans and decide tea and scones or such would be a nice start. Could not find the place she had thought of going to but we found a lovely B&B with a Cafe/Coffee shop. It was lovely. Went on to the St Vinnie's I mentioned as the weather looked like it could rain any time. Had fun there and as the weather was looking better we drove a short distance to a park in town on Lake Kegonsa. There is a lovely path that leads to a bench overlooking the lake. I had asked Diane to bring along her book of poetry by Mary Oliver so I could read it to her. She is Diane's favorite Poet and I have discovered I really love to read it to Diane. I get three things out of doing so. One is the poetry speaks to me, Two is my reading it to her makes Diane feel so good and three after reading various poems we often talk of them which makes our connection so much more full and wonderful.
Well I have spent most of the morning taking pictures, sorting for which ones to use and now posting this. I really need to eat some breakfast, or rather, lunch. Put some clothes on and, Finally!, do my long avoided laundry.
I find it difficult to believe that September is almost done and Summer is officially over. No doubt we will catch some good summery weather still but the air is starting to take on that Fall feeling. May you all have a good rest of the month and an enjoyable HNW.
BTW I posted some less discreet pictures in the first, or bottom comment, for those of you who may be interested. I am not sure if I will be able to match my thoughts up with each picture but do hope you like them. Let me know if you have a favorite.

I certainly thought so when I saw it. Knew it would be perfect to wear for a HNW shoot.
St Vinnie's is such a fun place to go to. Some might have noticed that Diane and I go there a lot. Have purchased quite a few pairs of earrings for Diane there too.

Yeh, that can happen way easy and has happened to me but I cannot use that excuse very often. Diane says that unless she catches me unaware for a picture I usually tighten up with a stiff face and even a bit of a stiff body. I admit that I sometimes wish would naturally get stiffer for pictures.
@justskin1 Perhaps your photographers assistant Diane should be assigned to helping you get relaxed, AND stiff, as appropriate.
@CleavageFan4U She can be right helpful with that but is not always available.

Thank You! I try to make my pictures be interesting and pleasing to the eye. If they manage to have some consider them artistic that is a big bonus.

Thank you! Aside from the glow I mentioned I do like the way that picture covers everything without really concealing much. I do regret cropping my head like that but it sure could have been worse.

This week's theme is, I think, one of the most difficult themes for HNW. I'd much prefer a cucumber!

I agree about the difficulty of this week's theme. I thought last week's with a Q was bad enough. Now that you have mentioned cucumbers I am curious if any will be featured in this week's Theme.
Hope you have a glorious Autumn. (Around where I live we usually say Fall and I now wonder what the history of that usage is.)
@justskin1 According to the UK's Meteorological Office, fall was a widely used term here: "Originally a shortening of the phrase fall of the leaf, the phrase was common in England in the 17th century." Autumn is derived from Latin/Old French words.
We probably adopted autumn in a fit of pique when America gained its independence from Britain. This time it's not the Americans changing words!
@spunkycumfun I kind of figured that Latin and French were in Autumn's ancestry. Are you sure it was not pique at our gaining independence but rather jealousy over how colorful our Fall was?
@justskin1 It could be that. New England's fall is certainly more spectacular than England's fall.
@spunkycumfun Our maple trees do seem to go in for some very outstanding color.
There were several pictures of me in that sheer lava-lava that I loved and also were less discreet than what I posted in the blog. Thought I would post a few of those here for those of you who enjoy shots that are less discreet or even not remotely so.
Thought I would show a picture of me in this pose where the bits are not actually uncovered but where the lava-lave lets them be seen very clearly.
I had not intended to have any bits uncovered but this is what I got the first time I tried to get the results in the next picture. I am sure some of you will be happy I included it. Sadly I was not able to correct for chopping off part of my head in either one.
I could not resist posting a close-up of part of the last picture. As Diane would tell me: "You are being such a guy!"
Here is a close up of one of the pictures in the main post. Yes, I am sure this proves I am definitely an exhibitionist. I admit I find doing is fun when I am sure that most who see enjoy the view or at least do not mind it.
