HNW - Green 3/19/25

I did not do anything, as usual, for St Patrick's Day. In fact I had not even realized Monday was St Patrick's Day. Had trouble thinking what to do for HNW this week as I could not think of something green to wear that I have not already used for this theme. Couldn't think of a new twist on them either. Then when I was rummaging in a storage bin, looking for something else, I ran across a pair of white exercise tights and tried them on for the heck of it. Looking in the mirror I got an idea. Then I thought of the hat with the green hat band. Took a bunch of pictures and here are some of them. Hope you think this works for the theme Green.

In case you are wondering where the green is, check out the hat band. I suspect some of you may consider wearing these tights with no thong under them to be no better than not wearing anything at all or even worse. I assure you that wearing a white thong under them increases the discreet factor considerably.

I had worried about the green of the hat band not showing up well when on my head. Thought showing the hat like this would make the green more visible. I decided to include it as I liked the composition.

For a bit of variety, and for those who were wondering what a bum shot would look like I took a few in the mirror over the shoulder selfies. I thought this picture worked well as I am showing the green over a nice smile while still showing that I am half dressed.

I had forgotten I had these tights and the last time I wore them was as part of a costume for a Society for Creative Anachronism event. (The SCA is sort of a Ren Fair for the participants.) The costume was much more discreet than you might expect as the top was a long tunic that extended a few inches below my bum and I did wear a white thong under the tights which smoothed out any "projections". I may take a picture or two of me in the full outfit and post it sometime soon.

I had intended to do a blog post about the bit of a ramble and picnic Diane and I did last Friday. It was a beautiful day. Mostly sunny with a high of 78F. For various reasons I just did not get the pictures chosen and the post done. I hope to do it tomorrow morning or Friday. I will be taking Diane to Aztalan State Park tomorrow so she can do a Calling the Directions ritual. It is something she does on the the Solstices and Equinoxes. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of only 40 degrees. Much better than today which is in the upper 30s , windy, rainy with occasional scattered thunerstorms.
