COUNTRY SUNSET
We got so much done yesterday! The piano tuner came out and tuned my new baby, we ran errands, concocted a new way to make burgers (different spices, bread crumbs, egg, etc... and grilled them), and started drinking in the pool. We are getting another heatwave this week, with temp "feel" of over 100 degrees. The pool is staying at around 85, and it is lovely.
From the pool, I could see the sun starting to set, and it was gorgeous. I quickly got out, and ran around the house to get a pic. Woo hoo!! (I know...I need to mow...look at that clover. LOL!) It's been so dry here, I haven't mowed in over a month. Then, we got dumped on over the weekend.
We had our Bluetooth speaker cranked with 80's metal, and we opened a bottle of Crown Royal that was gifted to us. It was just the 2 of us being silly - we actually stayed on the deck til 10:30pm, enjoying the new deck lights.
What to do today?? Who knows? Just when I get my rhythm going, and start enjoying myself, it's time to go back to work. It's cool, it's cool.

Nice picture, and the deck is only lacking some nekkie bodies.
I swear the community pool is actually starting to feel a bit warm. I guess it's due to all the humidity we're experiencing this year. That must be keeping evaporation down and resulting in not needing to add water.

You have a beautiful setting and a good catch on the sunset. You must be avoiding all the storms. they are missing us and seem to be in the central midwest storms. enjoy what u have left of the summer.
Every single time a storm comes through, it dissipates as soon as it gets to our area. So weird.
