THE PARTY'S OVER
What a summer it has been! From losing the pool, tearing it down, putting a new one up, to celebrating the youngest lil's birthday. It's been hectic, hot, and productive!
Hubby bought a new vacuum sealer, so we've been freezing everything! A few weeks ago, we put up 41 bags of sweet corn. Then, zucchini. Hell, we had a few burgers leftover, so those got vacuumed up, too! 
My Hibiscus are FINALLY blooming - I think it's because of the drought we had. I planted Shasta Daisies around the front porch. We need to put dirt around the new pool, then I'll be planting Phlox and Black-Eyed Susan around it.
Yesterday, our littlest celebrated his 1st birthday already. It was Talladega Nights themed - "If you're not first, you're last"... "Shake and Bake"... Everyone wore themed shirts, I went as Susan, Ricky Bobby's assistant. The food went along with the theme - KFC chicken, Taco Bell tacos, and Domino's pizza.
Laundry today, maybe cut the lawn again, then it's back to work! I feel like summer's over, but we still have quite a few HOT Saturdays coming. My knees have been bothering me, so I'm looking forward to doing LESS work when I go to work. I also need to dry out. So many pool/beer days... which also led to hot bedroom scenes. hahahahaha
