HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

The junk haulers showed up Saturday morning and grabbed the old sectional couch, and I was able to really clean the living room - walls, floor, fire place window - the new furniture arrived around 4:00. I had already gone to the birthday party at 3:00, so I ran to get Hubby when he called, and we both went back to the party. (He hates having 2 vehicles anywhere!) We're still trying to decide whether or not to leave the old recliner upstairs, or take it to the basement. Maybe a little too crowded? Anyways, we're really enjoying our bougie seating.

There's no way we'll be able to stay up til midnight tonight, LMAO, so I think we're gonna go out for a late lunch, and visit one of our favorite bars for a few drinks. It's safer that way, and heaven knows, we can't deal with hangovers the way we used to. Reminds me of a song - Old Tricks - see comment below.
