COOKING UP A STORM
Yes, I'm still home after Friday's e-learning day, a cold, cold weekend, and another e-learning day today. Heh...I'm not a teacher, so it's another day off for me!

I made a homemade blueberry coffee cake Friday morning, still eating on it. Might have to freeze some. Yesterday I tried for the first time Chicken/Broccoli Lo Mein. I made it for lunches for the week to take to work. I used a little onion, a little green pepper, shredded carrots, and broccoli. I haven't tasted it yet, but it looks good.

Hubby was upset that the store didn't have his Caramel dipping sauce for apples, so I made a homemade Taffy Apple Dip. Soooooo easy with cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. And cheaper! We were hungry for meatloaf last night, so I made a 2 lb. Cracker Barrel Copycat recipe. We'll eat off that a few more times this week.

Today, he wants to try homemade bread for the first time. OMG. I'll keep you posted.

We had a fight almost a week ago - could've been worse than it was, all my fault. Make-up sex has been crazy, being cooped up all weekend. He's such a good man.

Meat loaf I used ted turners bison recipe. I had a pound of bison mixed in some beef it was good and mashed taters..your blueberry coffee cake sounds great.. have a relaxing day..

Confessions of a biker babe

This is my first blog, so here goes... My husband and I just got back from "HOGROCK", down in SO. IL. It's a 4-day biker/camping event, similar to the "BOOGIE", which is in So. IN.
