SMALL TOWN SHOCK
I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened not far from our home 2 days ago. A 30 year old mother was opening up her bar around 11AM, when a man came in with a gun. She did everything he told her to do, gave him the money, but he still killed her, execution style. The whole community is in shock. He was picked up in Hammond, IN, yesterday, thank goodness. What a sick man.

How could anyone take a life?? I just don't understand. We also lost a friend suddenly, the same day. Hug your friends and family. You just don't know when it will be the last time.

Confessions of a biker babe

This is my first blog, so here goes... My husband and I just got back from "HOGROCK", down in SO. IL. It's a 4-day biker/camping event, similar to the "BOOGIE", which is in So. IN.
