OMG -- I binged season one in 2 days over the weekend. . . And i'm kinda waiting for 3 or 4 episodes of season 2 to be available before i start. . . This show was amazing...I was worried it would be some bad ER knockoff, but focusing on one shift per season, keeps the narrative tight and the pace quick...
While there was some time for minor character development I'm glad it's not overly bogged down by all the bed hopping and "love" drama that so many other medical shows devolve into. . .
Good luck with surgery
ER was a good show and I watched it religiously, making sure I never missed a Thursday night episode. However, I prefer the Pitt. It is much more accurate. I have a number of friend and family that work in medicine, particularly the ER and they all say the same thing. It is not only medically accurate on almost all cases but it captures the pace, tension, and over all culture of the ER. I with you, anxiously awaiting Thursday.
The Clark's is a band I don't know very much about. I have heard Better Off Without You a few times before but I no nothing of their other work. I'll have to check them out.
I cannot stress enough to you that you must check the clarks out on YouTube. They are so good and I love their songwriting and they're live performances. There's a reason why they are in the top 10 of my favorite bands. Now I will say my favorite bands are not radio played. I've been there and done that with corporate. Not anymore. There were a few that I enjoyed before. They became famous such as Shaboozey and Jelly Roll but I just can't handle the crowds anymore. So the top 10 bands of mine are not something that are played nationally, but they are beloved in so many circles. The pit to me is something that has never happened before on television and as you have said about the realistic news of it. It's really phenomenal that doctors nurses and hospitals say the exact same thing. And they have said that the second season is just as good as the first. I've actually watched the first season at least four times having finished it for the fourth time yesterday. No matter how groggy I will be tomorrow I will be watching it.
I hope you have an easy recovery. The band sounds good. It is pretty cool that they will be on the soundtrack for the show.
youve never heard of them? i think you should definitely hit you tube and give them a listen!!! and thank you for your good wishes
@mysexualgoodtime This is the first time I've heard them. There are always new bands popping up in my youtube feed, but I don't recall this one.
@njfitguy1 they are not new. They started in the mid 80s. They have stayed true to their independent route and very much beloved in the state of Pennsylvania. But they do tour all over the world.
I hope your surgery goes well and your pain disappears.
Thanks spunk!
Best wishes and a speedy recovery on your surgery!
Thank you. Three years of this pain will be gone! Finally!
