Good story, and the pics are wonderful.
What a thrill! If I tried something like that, I’d probably end up tripping while trying to run and end up flat on my face. 😂
On our way up to the jump site via cable car and a steep hike we observed the arrival of Rega helicopter to the cliff top. One of the para-gliders abandoned his/her flight because of equipment failure before going over the cliff edge. This obviously saved their life but they were injured when they came down unceremoniously....thus a rescue helicopter to take them down to safety and medical care. In retrospect I am not sure why I didn't change my mind.
VERY cool!
The closest I've come to this is parasailing (parachute towed behind a boat).
That sounds interesting too and fun I would think.
That sounds like an incredible experience.
You're braver than I am!
With all those trees and rocks to navigate... it looks spooky. 😲😂
But I can relate to the thrill.
Years ago, I got my certification in parachute jumping and would regularly step out from the plane at ten thousand feet. I'm terrified of heights, which added to the thrill.
Kool pics... 👍
In my former occupation I was on rooftops and chimneys regularly and a two story height was easy. Going on a three or four story building always seemed really different when it came to being anxious. Curious then that jumping off a cliff probably 30 or 40 stories up was not out of the ballpark scary!
This is SO cool!! I am impressed!! Hugs!!
That is definitely a leap of faith!
