And in the long comment thread, someone else posted this video, which tickled me. It's thirteen years old but aside from the site it refers to, it seems about as relevant as ever.
Also, I'm so sad about Paul Reubens leaving us at age 70, but man have I been enjoying the flood of in memoriam content. Last night it was Fresh Air playing an old interview with Paul. It was so fun to hear about how he was a weird kid...OK maybe the stories were embellished a bit, but still entertaining.
One of the funny moments was when she asked him if Pee Wee's lipstick and rougey cheeks were a tribute to silent film stars like Harold Lloyd and he said, "Oh, no. I just didn't really know how to put on makeup." 😂
So here's my little tribute, one of my favorite PeeWee movie moments.

He was hilarious in Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. I didn't even realize it was "Pee Wee" for a long time because he looked so different. LOL
Oh...an side note...My "CL" is actually because when I first created my "play" email account, it was to respond to a CL ad (back when you could still do regular personals on there) and I thought it was funny since obviously no one was looking for "love" there. I kept it consistent when I found AFF maybe 4 months later just so I didn't have to remember a different "name". When we were first talking about exploring ENM, we had no idea where to start and CL was all I could think of to start looking for a fwb on. We did laugh about all the crazy dick pics though so your funny here made me grin.

My big kids and I watched the Pee Wee Herman movies back in the day. They were silly and irreverent. I miss those days.
Me too...silly is good.
Sometimes you just need to watch something silly and if it is irreverent too all the better.
I wasn’t a big fan. His character was too cartoonish and I never thought of tequila quite the same after his take on it.

I didn't know Paul Reubens passed away, I loved him in Buffy the Vampire Slayer ( the movie not the TV series).
Apparently he had been battling cancer for several years and chose not to publicize it. 🙁
