I'll try adding the other photos in the comments.
Newspapers have ‘fact checkers’ …. who knew!
I thought they did…
@smartasswoman well the evidence would suggest that British rags either don’t or are deliberately posting half truths and down right lies. However as the vast majority are now owned by Right wing Oligarchs protecting their vested interests, go figure as they say!
@OldSaltySeaman now adays it is either the same skript, or the "fact check" checked another news source instead of actually doing there job. Shame really
Sweet Sue looks like a pubescent girl dressed up in her mom's clothes...not quite at Barbie's level. But that's just this Barbie's opinion.
I agree with you...like I said, her face still looks a bit childish, not like a "sophisticated” woman.
The doll:

Phew it is not Halloween yet, we safe
When I was little i had a Tiny Tears Doll, It cries and wets it self. Do you remember?
I didn't have one of those, but I do remember them!
Funny how the eyes are bigger than her mouth.
I honestly think they took a baby doll head, gave it long hair and plopped it onto a more grownup body.
Oh they stole the breast pic. I do see a lovely plastic ass though, hehehe.
Hugs!!
Oh I found more pics in the comments. Including her nippleless breasts, LOL.
I'm going to try re-posting with the images now.
Why do the bloggers who post something worth reading and that I want to read get hassled and cancelled. And the shallows and fakes with a pussy pic and “come fuck me” get plastered on my feed?
Someone posted the other day - JN maybe? saying they had heard back from Customer Service that longer posts take longer to get approved. Apparently it's super easy to review a post that says "come fuck me", not so easy to screen something that has actual content. 😂
Astounding what get posted and what not.
I thought this one would be touch and go, for sure!
I think for some reason it helps if you do a scheduled release for the post.
I used to sew outfits for my dolls as a kid. Of course I never would've thought about making thongs 😂
Ricca is the Japanese version of Barbie. Originally, she was proportioned like a typical Japanese girl, big head and tiny body. I think that's changed over the years. I probably still have mine somewhere boxed up in the closet.
I was amazed that my friend has hung on to this doll for 65 years! I have a few of my childhood books (Nancy Drew etc) but aside from that all childhood things are gone.
I love Barbie in a thong! And the 2001 parody is hilarious.
There were many fun references to other movies, but that one was definitely the most obvious!
Well it made it through…
That’s wild!
Except all of the pictures except one disappeared. 🤣😡
I had included photos of an online article that she printed out, that was about the Sweet Sue dolls.
@smartasswoman the things they decide to leave out,…
For anyone coming late to this post, it did originally have pictures of my friend's doll. 🤷🏻♀️
Guess the site ate them.
Sure
Barbie officially debuted on March 9, 1959, at the American International Toy Fair in New York City.
I grew up with Barbie, Ken, Skipper, Midge & Alan dolls. My Mom & grandmother knit and sewed outfits and accessories. In later years, my sister-in-law worked for Mattel and had to go to Barbie school.
Despite all the hype, I still am not interested in seeing the movie.
I thought it was really interesting that Mattel signed off on the movie - it wasn’t totally flattering! I guess the dollar bills were in their eyes.
Only one photo made it through. I’ll try to put the other ones back tomorrow.
