As part of redoing the bathroom I'm thinking I'll get a new picture for the one wall that is empty. In the old bathroom I had a couple of prints hanging there. They were OK, but I'm ready for a change.
I like art nouveau bicycle posters, and the style would be a fit with the William Morris style tile in the shower. And the colors would be good, I think.
This is fun, and it's cheap, but it's a little small (only 8x12).
This is a sentimental choice, as it was featured on my blog header for many many years (until the transfer to the the new Community format removed that option).
But maybe since the blues and grays of the bathroom make it feel a little cold, I need something like this with a pop of warm color.
This floral would be a really nice match with the style of the tile.

I would be happy with any of them, I think, so I thought it would be fun to see what others thought. I think this might be my first poll! At least since we made the transition to the Community site.

If I was to pick William Morris pictures. I would go with three William Morris floral prints and stagger them on the wall.
I do think William Morris prints look better in a grouping - most of them don't have a lot of variation so you almost need more than one to provide interest.
I have no art in my bathroom. Never even crossed my mind. I'm sure whatever you pick will be great.
There's a blank wall on the right as you walk into the bathroom (a partition, behind which there is a toilet). So why not? 😊
I liked the first one but I think it may be a bit small. The Art Nouveau poster with the pop of warm colors is my choice. I expect you could find an Art Nouveau bicycle ad with a nice color pop. I do love the sensual nature of so many Art Nouveau posters.

I think the Parrish print would be good in a bathroom ... naked woman and water, you know. However, I really, really like the floral design. It looks as if the flowers are floating in water and it has that little pop of color.
Yep, naked woman and water, exactly. Plus I like having a veiled reference to my blog life. But I really like the floral too. This will be a tough call.
Buy both and swap them in and out? LOL.

@superbjversion2 you are exactly right. I was just about to order the floral print when I had the idea that I should measure the wall to see which size would be best. Turns out even the smaller size seemed like it would be too big for the space. So I changed course and went with the bicycle print which is not too big, not too small, but just right!
The choose something fun speaks to me, it’s too bad it doesn’t come in a bigger size
There might be somewhere else I could squeeze it in, maybe on the other side of the wall...although they placed the floor thermostat smack dab in the middle of that wall.
I like the colors in the wine poster, but "Choose Something" or the Mayfield Parrish image might fit theme-wise in a bathroom more.
It may really come down to color compatibility/contrast with the wall.

The one on the right
A friend of mine found cartoon "cells" online. The true cells, on clear celluloid, don't do well in humid conditions. She found some colorful "prints" from the 80's animated porn movie, "Heavy Metal." Unframed they were inexpensive and fit 8.5 x 11 black plastic frames with glass from the Dollar Store. They only LOOK expensive.
Interesting....but probably not for me. 😊
